I just play yesterday, rouge lv.6 world II - just enter the town.
Diablo is Hack & Slash top view.
But I feel like someone try to make semi-open world.
Start game with large and almost empty map, almost fall sleep zzzZZZ.
Some event running with CG, it feel terrible and poor (ex. celebrate scene). If player cannot interact, please replace with cutscene or some fairy tale book like graphic (or better viewpoint).
Skill System, I feel like some game. But it good to try for improvement.

I donāt know if Diablo 4 Early Access is meant for feedback and I havenāt seen any devs on Forums, but for the microscopic chance of someone reading the Forums for feedback posts, here are my opinions after playing all 3 characters to level 15 - and Sorcerer to 25.
First and foremost I would love to bring a little more positivity to this Forum by stating that the game is feeling fresh, looking great, and I am very excited for release.

First of all guys excellent job on Diablo 4 so far. I was initially worried that the game would just be crashing a lot on windows 11 but you guys mostly nailed the programming aspect of things. GOOD JOB! I have a decent gaming laptop and I noticed the graphics look a little weird but Iām gonna try different settings as I go.

THE TONE OF THE GAME
I love the dark and grim feeling, but it can also become a bit bland over time. I would suggest adding color where it is fitting. For instance, there is no reason why cloth cannot have brighter colors, why monsters cannot have a bit more color etc.

Hello Blizzard,
Just wanted to share some feedback from the start of the game. The first mini boss? that you encounter as a character doesnt feel like anything special. No voice dialog comes with this mini boss or loud noises. Feels very basic and spongie for no reason. Really feel like to get a player pumped you should of done somthing like the butcher from D1, āFresh meatā who doesnt remember that? Any voice line would of been better then a spongie boss that really doesnt do anything.

Iām not here to moan about beta specific issues, error codes or queueās etc. That was all expected and all happened, it should be better but hey. Also not interested in people who are here to just defend any criticism at all. This game isnāt perfect, it needs plenty of work still, and Iām sure it will get it. I bought the deluxe edition, and looking forward to full release. Iām enjoying my experience, thatās what matters.

This might seem like something minor but here is my main feedback from beta.
The overall look and feel of picking up items off the ground, needs a bit of an upgrade IMO.
Right now the text seems oversized, the font is very plain, colors are a bit too bright, the look of the popup and the sound when you pick up gold feels corny and cheap. the potions on the ground look like mobile game item drops.
The items being all just plain rectangles in your inventory, they need a nicer feeling border to ā¦

I thought now that the first beta ended I try to gather my thoughts on a few items that came to my mind during playing. Iāve played a decent amount, all 3 available character, maxed out the wizard, but played a decent chunk with the barbarian as well. I was also recording the gameplay for my YT channel.
I have chosen the wizard as my main character due to the lack of characters that were desirable / interesting so most of my feedback will be for that character.

Since the last time I gave feedback, Iāve hit 25, finished the closed beta renown tiers, and did more dungeons and the 3 strongholds. Iāve had additional thoughts that Iāve appended to the bottom.
Iāll put the most important part summarized here for the TLDR:
Diablo 4 is going to need to be carried by transformation leagues, by which I mean leagues that offer a experience altering gameplay- like Delve or Heist. It has to provide a different gameplay loop in addition to base every time. Why? Beā¦
I know that this feedback isnāt going to have any impact on the launch product but hopefully if someone out there agrees devs may incorporate some changes as the game grows. Absolutely having a blast playing it but some decisions really make an impact that feel like things were sacrificed for mobile or consoles.

I entered the beta approximately 9 minutes after it began. I had a three-minute waiting line. Disconnected after forty minutes of playing after and waited in line for over an hour more. After this, there are no further concerns. Even though it was anticipated. 9ā¦

After playing a fair bit of the beta I have come to some conclusions on what I like and dislike about the game so far.
For what I enjoy , lets talk about the itemization for leveling, seeing as that is all we have access too. Most ARPGās, even this one, gate skills behind a level or stat requirement. A good thing about this game is that we can drop items that possess +1 to skills we cannot other wise use or level, allowing us to use them early. For me getting aā¦
The Good:
The art and sound design is great. While some skills are missing things like lighting effects, overall the game just looks and sounds amazing.
Skills feel good to cast. They have that āpunchyā feel that makes a good ARPG more fun and immersive.
The new questing and open world all seem solid. I thought I wouldnāt like āWorld of Diabloā, but here we are. Itās hard to say for sure, since the beta was fairly short, but the structure is certainly there for an engaging endgame open wā¦
Ok after long time finally had chance to play for few hours. Here is some feedback:
Very good gameplay imo, same as difficulty (tried higher one)
Graphic seems to need some improvements. As eho game is quite dark, some models looks very un-natural
Quests, content all good
Inventory nice, finally can both players edit in same time
Skill tree makes sence
What to improve:
skill assigment is very bad, too long. I would expect i select skill and then slot and thats it

My beta impression after finishing campaign , min-maxing Sorc and slaying Ashava // A Gamer Approach:
TLDR : I LOVE IT! I was really worried after Diablo released a video with console showcase (which was not announced ), but in the end PC version is nothing like that.
Menus, UI , yeah it could use some tweaking , but itās ok more/less.
Atmosphere, music, combat, all very well done and this time I could say this could be real Diablo2 successor.
Dungeons are much better then i expected. ā¦
Mostly using this as a notepad as things come up. No particular order.
Where is my twangy weird classic Diablo music? I should be able to tell that a Diablo game is playing simply by the sound track, and I cannot. First of 4 games I have ever come across this issue, and it was something I was looking forward too. The score of Diablo games has a very, very special, nostalgic place in my heart. Itās like jungle music from the desert, folk metal made from tambourines, chanting and deep drums andā¦
The Good:
Music, atmosphere, and setting are all incredible and the game feels like a true Diablo game giving me D1 vibes.
Open World has breathed new life into the genre, and the franchise in particular. Actually being able to explore even this single region of Sanctuary is awesome. The first time we walk into the Cathedral of Light was one to remember (loved all the artwork of Inarius).
Combat - while slower and with less density, it still feels incredible and is actually challenging for theā¦

Player should be able to force move on mouse button 1 and still be able to interact/loot items. This feels like a really important feature which other arpg games got 0 problems with.
Any reason why I canāt bind shift + mousebutton 1? Ctrl + mousebutton 1 worksā¦
Since Iām only able to level to get to level 25, I am not sure if this changes later in the game. But right now, it feels like all the boss āmechanicsā we haā¦
So let me start by saying that Iāve been playing Diablo since D1. D2 was an absolute banger and still is. D3 had its flaws but seasons made D3 fun again.
On to my critique of D4. I realize tuning is probably not finished but,
*Barbarian is so incredibly weak compared to Rogue and Sorc itās honestly sad.
*Build diversity is bad to be honest. I feel one of the best parts of diablo is taking an ability you like and making it just wreck the game. An example: I cannot take Frenzy and make it a buiā¦
First off I been playing D2 since 2000 bought D3 on Pc played even on switch came back for D2R. I prefer D2 got bored of D3 quite quickly.
D4 has been enjoyable so far I know itās not perfect but I like the environment and enjoy playing with the sorc a lot.
Only request is can you give more time on Beta for people who are older gamers and can play this non stop. Also I hope more beta days before June launch.

A few things I experienced that I wanted to raise (unsure if this is the result of it being beta or not):
Intermittent stuttering beyond the introductory questline. Basically as soon as I reached Kyovashad, Iād start getting hit with random and intermittent stuttering in the game. The only repeatable occurrence of this was when I faced a dungeon boss (canāt remember the dungeon name, but the boss was a spirit freed by placing two cubes on pedestals). So far, I have had a blast playing the beta and feel that the more grimy/darker look is a good step in the right direction. However, I have some main aspects that I would like to address. First of all, searching for a specific challenge/achievement is a pain in the a**. Therefore, a search bar for not only challenges/achievements but also for the inventory, stash, etc. (where you can search for the name, affixes, etc.) would be one of the first QoL features I would like to see.

So far I enjoyed the beta (3x lvl25), but there is always room for improvement.
Dungeons feel too similar: get 1-2 keys in a side-area, go back, kill boss. I know itās hard to reach Lost Ark level of dungeons if you have that many (not talking about Chaos dungeons, the regular story dungeons from LA were absolutely insane), but a little more variety would make a lot of people happy from what I read on Youtube/discord/forums/reddit
Biggest concern regarding seasons: No way Iām collecting all 10ā¦
This is what I would like to see in the final product:
More gore on kill. The environment is dark and visceral. The combat itself is chunky and attacks feel cathartic. But when killed, most enemies evaporate. This makes sense for ghosts and wraiths, but werewolves and goat men? At least blood stains that donāt instantly despawn, and even little chunks once an enemy is defeated would be nice.
More tile variety and randomized dungeon layout is desperately needed.
Aspects shouldnāt be one-ā¦
First thing: I want my belt back! 4 healing potions at any given time makes me nervous as a player. Look Iām no world champion but I have played Diablo since it first came out. And I want my belt back with multiple slots for lots of bottles of healing potions so I feel secure out there with all the demons and werewolves and vampiresā¦
I hate the skill tree. I just canāt follow it. I canāt even see the whole thing. So itās hard to figure where I am going with my character.

I played Sorc to 25, got a bunch of legendaries and a few different specs.
1.) Lightning visually feels underwhelming. Not by a lot but it needs little more color or something to make it stand out more. Ice is great. Fire was awesome. Visually.
2.) I donāt like seeing other players. It breaks my immersion. I donāt want to play this with other people.
3.) Items feel underwhelming. I like the items with + to skill thatās awesome.
4.) Time to kill groups of ā¦
things i think can be considered for improvements from my rogue playthrough during the open beta, im not an english native speaker but i will try to be as polite as possible. =)
overall classes balance needs to be changed. rogues and sorcerers were way stronger than the barbarian
combat pace feels way too fast, feels like playing in fast forward mode, everything just melts
enemies attack are too fast to be dodged
lots of abilities that are on long cooldown doesnāt feel powerful enough comparedā¦
I have level up a sorcerer at World Tier2 level up until lvl 25 and completed most the quest, dungeons, and Act 1.
I have to say that Iām really impress by the level of details of the environment the weather changes and the dark atmosphere in general. Diablo went back to its root.
So far for a beta I will give the game 8/10.
I would have given a 7/10 due to the queue at the beginning of the beta but you guys fixt it. I will also forgive some of the lag understanding that it is a beta.

I was incredibly disappointed after about 20 minutes. The other Diablo games started off so big, and the story captivated me. This game seems like something an indie developer made. It doesnt look good, the combat is clunky, the story is just boring, and there is nothing at all to warrant a new $70 title. I had severe buyers remorse to be honest. I expected to be blown away but I was just annoyed.
Why was this even made? It seems there is no passion at all in this. Believe me I wanted to love tā¦
Hi there. First of all I want to thank everyone working on D4. You have done a great job and amazing experience for me. I played thousands (like 4k or so) hours in D3, and played around 70 hours in D4 Beta. Here are features and implements I really WISH to see. Maybe not in launch, but months and years aheadā¦
Where did TELEPORT TO FRIEND button go? Its tiring to tp back to town, and back to your friendās Teleport and loading 2 screens in the meantime is a massive NO.

Overall, I had temendous fun playing Diablo 4 over the weekend. I donāt regret pre-ordering the game and Iām looking forward to sinking a lot of hours into it this summer and rest of the year. I wanted to highlight some recommendations for improvements as mainly a solo player of the franchise.
Full single player experience
I really appreciate the developersā attempt to evolve the style of the franchise, but I believe that a full single player experience option is a must for a Diablo game. Bestā¦
Iāve played all 3 available classes, and here is what I have to say for each.
Sorcerer
I played Sorcerer to level 25. I played in Tier 1 mode all the way through. Overall, I liked it. I started off with a cold-based one, and the damage/survivability isnāt bad with their barriers. My take might change if I try Tier 2 (more on that on other classes). After getting to 20, I did switch to a pure fire-based build, and it was enjoyable. Was not able to kill the world boss spawn though, as I was gettā¦
Skill tree meh looking, the tree that was originally originally shared was a awesome looking. would like more customization to the skills like ability to apply poison to rogues skills or have the hydra change elements type of thing.
Dungeons are nice looking but being nice looking doesnāt make it fun D1 was very so so for graphics for its time and yet the dungeons were more randomize. POE even uses better cell map randomization then D4 does at this point.
I did and still enjoy the butcher jumpā¦
Iāve seen some of this mentioned already, but I have decided I would share all my notes that I made during my sorceress playthrough. I hope I donāt come off as too brash. Just trying to be honest.
UI / Sound Issues:
Camera is too zoomed in.
Character voice is too loud during āNeed more manaā style lines. Although the game is full of gore, the most startled Iāve been during my gameplay was when my character screamed about āNeeding more time!ā into my ears repeatedly. There is no separate vā¦

I know this game is pretty polarizing right now. I am going to attempt to give my impartial thoughts.
First weāll start with pros:
The game plays much better than d3. It feels a bit slower and attacks feel heavy. No arcade gauntlet legends, but weāre not in end game.
Music and atmosphere are very good. Closer to the gritty feel of the first 2 installments.
Storytelling feels miles ahead of d3, but some of the dialogue still feels a little cheesy, and dramatic.

First of all, I have played Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 for a long time, and this is only my 2nd time playing any Diablo game on console (I played the D2R demo on my PS4 for a little bit). So overall Iām unfamiliar with the Diablo on console experience. I have already pre-ordered the game on PS5, so Iām in this for the long ride with you all on the console boat. Here are the issues/feedback I have so far playing the first Beta weekend:
The subtitles in first cutscene is not sync well.ā¦
Outside the whole performance/queue thing, which I doubt will be fixed for launch, I did enjoy the game. The only big issue I found outside disconnects is when I went into my second dungeon I found what appeared to be a random spawn boss that hit me for ~30% of my HP a whack and it was a very high attack speed. For comparison the end boss of the dungeon was faceroll easy. Iād say which dungeon, but when I tried leaving, it disconnected me and I had to rejoin the 1.5h queue to get back in. The raā¦
Intro
I remember playing Diablo I back at launch on Windows 95. I was instantly mesmerized and hooked. While I never played hardcore, I did continue on to play thousands of hours of D2, D3, and D2R. I recently went back and completed each game in the series to prep for D4. I consider D4 to be my most anticipated game of the year although I enjoy and review games of all genres.

While I have seen some constructive conversation and feedback in forums and Reddit, there isnāt enough. So, Iā¦
Actually had the same issue at the East Gatehouse bridge. I didnāt have the problem on my other characters but only my Druid. There have been other parts of the game that wonāt allow me to unlock a gate (north gate at the stronghold lvl 25). But the East Gatehouse bridge is the only one that will stutter step and not allow me to pass.

I was very happy with what Iāve played in the beta and I think itās time for me to leave some feedback. Iāve played dozens of ARPGs over the last 15+ years and it is my favorite genre so I think I should give some feedback.

While my overall experience with the Diablo IV closed beta was a blast, some bugs were encountered on the way. Iāll try my best to list them all:
While playing as a sorceress with Teleport skill, right before hitting Alabaster Peak for the first time, where you have to wait at the gate for someone to open it up to you, I managed to teleport right at the closest point possible to the skill disable area and I think that didnāt trigger the NPC loading correctly, so there was no one at the gates ā¦
So for the most part the game is fun. The world is great and the combat feels perfect. That being said It has some problems.
Dungeons
Dungeons feel super repetitive in their layout. I hope when we can upgrade them with sigils things change but right now the constant same layout and fetching items to open a door is not going to cut it. Very boring from an exploration standpoint.
Bugs/lag
Invisible walls, chest I couldnāt click on(not silent chest), and immense lag. I assume most of these willā¦
Iāve played the closed Beta last year and I know that Blizzard didnāt want to share much more of content to avoid spoilers etcā¦
The game is fun and thereās tonās of things to do, Iād say itās a game for a solid 100+ hours to complete all dungeons in game and quests, donāt know yet about challenges how long it would take but Iām very concerned about replayability for gamers that are just starting and the reasons are:
1 - It was advertised 150 types of dungeons but every single āundergroundā queā¦
Character Development
Great customization options, I love how the look transfers into cutscenes and everything else. Somewhat limited profiles and racial profiles. I think some more can be added to this to make the experience unique for each player. The trans-mogs were fun and I liked the way my setup was always showing up on cutscenes as well.
In general terms leveling was as expected, some main quest content required some levels before being achievable, which is great. Loot drops were substaā¦
User-Interface
Probably my biggest concern is just how rigid the UI is in general. While Iād prefer to be able to move aspects of it anywhere, I would certainly be fine with UI scales like in WoW, or the ability to shift aspects of it to preset locations (I realize you can shift it to the left on the beta).
The UI also doesnāt display enough information in regards to debuffs. Knowing how long youāre frozen or stunned is pretty vital information, and AFAIK, thereās no information that displays ā¦

Hello Diablo team,
I thought now that the first beta ended I try to gather my thoughts on a few items that came to my mind during playing. Iāve played a decent amount, all 3 available character, maxed out the wizard, but played a decent chunk with the barbarian as well. I was also recording the gameplay for my YT channel.
I have chosen the wizard as my main character due to the lack of characters that were desirable / interesting so most of my feedback will be for that character.
