Diablo 4 feedback

The goods
Graphics are great
Environments are great
I like the Dungeons
Like the drop-in drop-out online cooperation

The bads
Same ambient music as Diablo 3
Same voice actor for my rogue as Diablo 3, haven’t played other classes
Too much NPCs with foreign accents, I’m French and I don’t like games where NPCs speak in bad English, some people might find it immersive, personally it make them feel like bad voice actors.
I don’t like the UI, and when I say “I don’t like it”, I’m being extremely polite.
I don’t like Item Power shenanigan
I don’t like to Upgrade item like Lost Ark
I don’t like stripping power out of an item to insert it in another item, it makes unique and legendary items meaningless and nothing more than currency
The zone are empty and dead, Tier 3-4 better increase those numbers, but right now the over-world feels like an asymmetrical MMO with respawnable packets of pre-determined monsters, and a mount to skip from place to place.
Not enough waypoints, too much walking around, respect my time!
Crafting NPCs are too spread out in town, again respect my time!
In Diablo 3 the monsters cackle, scream. When they use spells and abilities, sounds are associated with them in a meaningful way. It’s a rich experience, Diablo 4 has none of that, it’s bland and soulless, I get this is a bleak and dark game, but it is a game.
Skeletons (monsters) have 5 fps to their animations
You can’t turn off status combat text like “Immune”
Many things you can’t see on the map without being in the zone itself, and in some case you have to be in close proximity for even completed ones to show up, like cellars.
You are dropping too many health potions because we are losing too much health, this over-reliance on health pots makes combat less meaningful, D3 had it right
Whole game is floaty, especially the combat, there is no weight to what is happening, nothing but numbers with pixels on top, there are no staggers, push backs, just On and Off statuses and a health bar. The original Super Mario Brothers had more computational depth; you had to consider and manage momentum depending on your running speed when jumping or braking. I get that you want to reduce server calculations to a minimum to save operating costs, but this feels way cheaper than just cheap.

I played 2500 hours of Diablo 3, Diablo 4 needs to get a lot better if you want me to buy this Day-1…

Also, there better not be weeklies or dailies in final release, and certainly not “need ItemLevel 500 to queue for boss or enter this dungeon” because if there is, I might consider playing something else, something much better than an “approachable Lost Ark”, Lost Ark is such a terrible game, why would you someone think of taking anything from it is puzzling.

sup homie I’m having a blast BUT as a controller player I wish my char wouldn’t target objective with my basic attack button when I’m trying to slay the hordes. keep up the good work
