I dont post much, but i read a lot of negative posts. My take is that I am going to play at launch and I played all 5 classes. It is way too early to trash the game as it is only in act 1, level 25 and has a ways to go to see how it will play out. I figure if I play 3-4 classes till end game I got my moneys worth, but here are some of the issues I see .
Respec, If i want to change a spell I have to respec the whole tree, not friendly if it costs a ton later on, not to mention keeping track of the build.
New world charged for everything, travel, weight, auction, houses etc and players walked until they fixed it and most came back after they did(had to ). Dont shoot yourself by charging absurd amounts to do something.
Storage, 10 char slots and 4 tabs, pretty pathetic, we will be wanting to hold on to pieces to extract aspics, and even if you did roll more than 1 char , i rolled 5 and I was out of space. Need more storage, and not to cost a lot either as gold shouldn’t be a barrier. Also gems need a tab of their own for QOL issue,
Joining a diff party, you reset all your quests to the other party, why? just join the other part and work together, no need to reset my quests to match someone elses.
Make a key to salvage drops, i salvage all white and blue and have to port back to town in a dungeon as there too much to loot. give us a key to salvage from inventory. We know were going to need the materials.
Melee need better movement skills, mobs or elites that phase in and out from one side of the room in a blink, and the darn barb, or druid has to lumber over to melee the mob. pretty darn sad interaction.
Cellar event pretty sad 5-6 mobs and your done, not worth the time to go in, never got more than yellows and if you kill the main mob, it says event complete even though there 4-5 mobs still alive. Did anyone actually play the game on the dev side?
The world boss spawning 4 times a day 2 at hours we wont be on for is terrible, esp if we need the flower for crafting. Also if the world boss is a level 25 mob then only level 22 and up players should be able to enter the area, Nothing is worse than not killing it because there level 12’s in there and do no damage so you fail and have to wait for the next time (or day).
Rubberbanding in a zone when you get close to another player, and have you tried yourself to have 4 necro or sorc in a grp all casting spells at an elite, to see the screen lag?
Please make some of the QOL changes and not make it downright a burden, i want to get to end game without having to farm dungeons to respec spells and gear.
bottom line was I had fun, got 4 classes to 25 one to 22 and kept paying one for the last cpl days to clear the map, but the game has potential, just dont go crazy with charging for everything, and we dont even know yet how seasons will be run/changed in 3 months.
Also adding a big issue is not being able to port to another player, when in a dungeon and they need help or in game across the map. yes put restrictions for levels, but need a way to get with another player other than run.
