I’ve played preorder and public beta on PC so far and I like what i will get in June.
I’ve tested 4 of the 5 available classes.
-
Sorc LV 25 which I will main at release. Easy to level, easy to play and with much build options to test out and so far there seem to be many viable ways to play sorc at around Lv. 25. In my Opinion not so aspect dependent as others.
-
Rogue LV 10 seems ok as well, tested only Ranged option which was fine.
-
Necro Lv 25 easy to level and play, not much difference to D3 Necro. Several viable Play Stiles not much aspect reliant but it gets easier once you get some of the realy good ones
-
Druid Lv 23 a little bit more tricky in the Beginning but once you get several aspects it gets much easier. Played Werewolf at Start and the switched to Elemental witch Tornados and Hurricane, even killed Butcher at Lv 18 without any Hussel. But it is very dependent on getting the right aspects as soon as possible. Without those Legendary Items very hard to play. Druid class Mechanic Quest could not be completed, maybe this would have solved some of the problems.
Stability and co:
I’ve had very few crashes one major one (forgot to limit the refresh rate) other than that no major Issues. Some minor ones were occasional stuttering, rubberbanding and invisible walls. I expect those to be fixed at release. Ques only on the Fridays on both Beta Weekends. I’ve seen worse (Anyone remembering D3 Start ?)
Things to Improve:
overlay Map, Groupfinder, Some Ingame Menues are cluttered and Items are hard to find (Map), Inventory is to small (maybe ad a gemms tab), Chracter creation please more Face, Hair and Body Options, Enchanting needs a Preview, mob density in some places is off, Dungeons are a bit repetitive
