My honest Feedback

I’ve played the closed Beta last year and I know that Blizzard didn’t want to share much more of content to avoid spoilers etc…

The game is fun and there’s ton’s of things to do, I’d say it’s a game for a solid 100+ hours to complete all dungeons in game and quests, don’t know yet about challenges how long it would take but I’m very concerned about replayability for gamers that are just starting and the reasons are:

1 - It was advertised 150 types of dungeons but every single “underground” quest has like 3 layouts a small room at the entrance and then a bigger room where you’ll fight or you have to do something and then monsters will spawn afterwards. It’s actually the same layout as D3’s “A Shattered Crown” quest where you have to kill Mira and then speak to Haedrig, right at the beginning of the game.
2 - There’s no teleport to friends or a scroll that you can carry with you and open a portal for them to join you faster, it there is I don’t know how that is done. If there isn’t the game is going to be more Walking/Horse Simulator than actually fighting monsters because they are also very scarse.
3 - The drop rate is too high if you want longevity for the game. The quantity of rares you drop are very high and it’s not hard at all to drop the legendaries to be a game changer. With one day of beta players were already rocking a full gear set of legendaries. Diablo 1 and 2 hooked back in the day because of the difficulty of getting something it would worth you wearing. Pretty much you’d have to grind and grind and grind. It seems like the dev’s introduced a few bits from D1 and D2 but the game is more similar to D3 than anything else.
4 - More interactions with players would also be nice, perhaps a push to talk button within the game that you can chat with people within a certain distance. Instead of using those voice emotes. I mean a ton of FPS games have that why can’t Diablo too?

Anyways enough of the problems. The game overall feels good, the combat mechanics are very good too, skill tree is decent on all 3 classes and very good to take your time to theory craft.
Soundtrack is amazing and general sounds too. I’m so glad is not like D3 that for 8 years I’ve played on mute because I’ve hated the “inside of a can” sound from DH’s firing.

Anyways, I hope Blizzard can still tweak and are “really opened” to read the feedback from the community.
I’m one player that wants that this game is a huge success, but they gotta get a few things done still in my opinion to get there!

Drop rate is one of the things they’re got right. Your power level is 100% connected to items you have no other way to influence it with the systems they’ve put in place. You’ll be stuck in place for hundreds of hours at a time if they didn’t have high drop rate.

People like you don’t remember how atrocious D3 was at launch where it was next to impossible to find items that were any good without playing 24 hours a day and being stuck in place for hours at a time because you couldn’t go to the next area.

When in party, there are portals in the middle of Kyovashad of each member in the party, giving you the ability to teleport to them.
