My small UI feedback based on playing both weekends

I played on a PC with kbd/mse at 2560x1440 for context. As well, I have a color deficiency (not color blindness – it is about not seeing distinctions in different colors very well. I see colors in “steps” instead of gradients my ophthalmologist tells me). This makes gaming fun sometimes lol!

  • In overland content, the maximum zoom-out felt inadequate
  • In combat, the cursor changes to a red sword, and coupled with its size/shape, made it exceptionally hard to see. For ranged aiming, this proved at times very frustrating to me. I have the cursor set to the maximum size. If any one thing could be changed for launch for me to be less frustrated, it would be a way to somehow improve cursor visibility during combat.
  • The minimap should be able to be zoomed out more in overland content. This was frustrating and annoying.

Otherwise, I loved what I experienced (I played D1 at launch, then D2, then D3 … 1000’s of hours into the franchise). Can’t wait for launch!

Also color deficient, and yes, too much of most games are based on color normals, despite the fact 12% of men are color deficient to some degree. 8% enough to be diagnosed as color blind. lol

The Lilith statues are a perfect example. People have said they are easy to find … they aren’t for me.
