Dungeons: I know that running the same 5-6 mythic dungeons with keys in WoW was very repetitive, but it may be better here with the quantity of dungeons. However, in WoW, I did enjoy knowing that we were competing against the same pattern of floors/enemies vs. others teams/defined times. I think randomized, D3 rift-like end-game should be a separate thing. There should be room for both.
More random dungeon encounters (like the butcher) would be fun.
The little one room shacks that were around the world felt… repetitive and pointless?
World boss: creating larger groups for the world bosses would be great. This would allow for more coordinated groups for more challenging experiences. The one-shot mechanics should be toned down and more stuff around to hit you. Maybe a few things that are critical one-shots, with others adding up over time (e.g. WoW/Final Fantasy raids). Once you learned “the dance”, it was pretty easy to not get hit by a single swipe from the world boss and the acid pools dealt almost no damage.
Move/Interact/Basic Skill Slot: There needs to be a third option. To combine left click and interact, while putting the skill on a different key.
Chat bubbles: The chat bubbles look awkward and feel like they are designed for console. I typically thought they were awkward to click on with a mouse but felt great for controller. Maybe the area to click is too small? Not 100% sure here, but something felt off to me while using mouse and keyboard.
Menus: The skill tree menu is too large and spaced out.
Skills modifiers: I felt as if D3 skills changed more based on different skill runes (e.g. Monk’s Wave of Light had several different things that happened based on modifiers – not just elements).
When modifiers are tied to gear drops, I worry that it will be rng-based on how your build is made.
Bugs: are bugs… they happen. I forgive you =D
Classes: Requesting Paladin and throwing classes (Javazon/Thrower barb)
I would’ve liked to see more innovative/new classes. They just feel like rehashed classes from other Diablo titles with some WoW skills sprinkled in there.
Things I really loved: graphics, combat, heavy feeling of attacks, scaling (although some felt tuned a little off, but I like the concept overall), strongholds, world events.
