Blizzard, it is no secret that the hitboxes on his arrows are massive, got killed multiple times on qp as tracer when the arrow didn’t even look like it touched.
Also, search up Hanzo character overview, AndrewJRT. It is mostly a meme video, but in the process he proved something very valid. Please nerf. Without it, Hanzo would be balanced, maybe even with scatter arrow, (just a thought) . Just search nerf Hanzo’s arrows’ hitboxes, and you will get results.

So let me get this straight.
You were playing Tracer, Overwatch’s version of the superhero The Flash, someone who runs at lightspeed and is almost impossible to see until they’ve beaten you to a pulp.
And you were slain by a bow and arrow?
I’ve been known to headshot quite a few Tracers trying to jump me, but the ones who know how to dodge and Blink around me are physically impossible for me to ever kill. And when I say impossible, I mean I have a 0% chance of ever landing one hit on them.

It’s actually an urban legend. People have told me they were much larger at launch, but they haven’t been for a long long time. The reputation persists. I’m sure you want to argue with me, but it’s the easiest thing in the world to go test yourself.

If the hitboxes were so small, and his arrows so slow I doubt you’d see many hanzos flick shot.

The power of memes, dude. At the launch his arrows were the same size as Zen’s orbs and Mei’s icicles. But only Hanzo gets so much hatred. That’s what a couple of good jokes in the Youtube video can do. Now this is a vicious circle.

Despite the memes to the contrary, Hanzo’s arrows aren’t actually all that big. They are tied for the smallest projectile in the game with a couple other things, sich as Genji’s shurikens.
For example, Mercy and D.Va pilot weapons are 2.5x bigger than Hanzo arrows.

Why are they so easy to head shot with then? I played hanzo today with about 9 hours in total, I was able to headshot an ulting genji somehow! I’m just surprised how I didn’t do too bad…

Theres a reason why genji is constantly doing damage with right click spam, people just don’t notice it so much because its not a one shot.
Considering how ineffectual these weapons are, I’m glad that they have something going for them…
