Exactly, NPCs usually get special treatment. So given that none of us have proof of anything and are really at Blizz’s mercy to realize that it helps them in regard to what they’ve been trying to accomplish.
They’ve stated even in the recent deep dive that they’ve been looking at ways to instill fantasy among players. To allow them to present their character how they want. So this is all very much in that same vein.
You said it yourself there. The default option for non-attackable NPC’s is to have mana, and they went out of the way to remove the mana bar. This doesn’t necessarily indicate anything, but if it did, it would be NO to Paladin, and YES to Warrior - or do we disagree?

Alleria and Locus-Walker have Energy.
Many NPCs in the Dark Iron city have no mana.

Tauren Paladins use power from An’she and Zandalari from a Loa. The Tauren do occasionally refer to it as the Light, but the Zandalari don’t. So no, by definition, they do not.

What makes this so awful is at least people have been able to spin Blood Elf Druids and make it make sense, I have yet to have anyone make a legit case or even a point for Void Elf Paladins outside of that they want it or because Blood Elves have it.
I thought it was when they threatened BE fans that if we continue taking issue w their bias takes when they talk about customization they’ll leave BEs out all together.
First, you should add classes for every race gnomes included.
Second, belf shaman is great but belf druid has just as much reason to be on there as velf paladin.

Yeah, I think that’s why though that Blizz doesn’t just take feedback from them. They know the community and how it is. Feedback still matters and there was a recent hire that had posted here months ago that was really into the concept of Belf Druids.
So just keep making suggestions and laying out concepts. I’m sure they’ll still see it. It might not happen right away, but I see in expacs to come it become a theme to knock down a lot more of the customization limitations in the game.
Yeah you’re right. It just gets so demoralizing. You put effort and work into something and Blizzard never responds, rarely shares any info on what they’re doing for any of this and then the CC members seem to be off doing their own thing or choosing quasi-forum politics to make their posts… flipping their lids at the earliest provocation.
