Nice save, Maskraider! :+1:

You know what this means? You have to correct, edit and update the OP from now on. :smiling_imp:

The acronym AD is more often area damage. Also there is a difference between ASI (attack speed increased) and IAS (increased attack speed) so both should be mentioned. For reference, IAS is only found on weapons and directly changes the base attack speed of the weapon while ASI are all other sources of attack speed modifiers added up (e.g. from quiver, gloves, rings, amulets, skills, passives, pain enhancer, certain legendaries, etc.).

I would like to add a few more to that list:

UE - Unhallowed Essence (set)
N6M4 - Natalya’s Marauder (sets) hybrid build
FoK - Fan of Knives (skill)
EF - Evasive Fire (skill)
RF - Rapid Fire (skill)
MS - Multishot (skill)
RoV - Rain of Vengeance (skill)
SA - Steady Aim (passive)
TA - Tactical Advantage (passive)
HPS - Holy Point Shot (quiver)
Wraps - Wraps of Clarity (bracer)
Elusive - Elusive Ring (ring)
Yangs - Yang’s Recurve (bow)
Gunes - Visage of Gunes (helm)
Karlei’s - Karlei’s Point (dagger)
HW - Hunter’s Wrath (belt) or less commonly, Hellcat’s Waistguard
Grenades - Grenades primary or Cluster Arrow - Cluster Bombs (rune)

Don’t forget CoE - Convention of Elements! Next, add in the legendary gem acronyms: BoT, BoP, Gogok, PE, etc. as well as LoN (Legacy of Nightmares). Also, some of those are class-specific like Skull Grasp and Vile Ward.

Thanks Iria.
I have edited the post to include them. Please help to review it.
I have made the post WIKI. You may edit the post. Let me know if you can’t.

I just did table formatting.
I’ll get to the rest after dinner.

Since it is now a Wiki, and you have Trust Level 1 security level, maintenance is now in the hands of y’all. :wink:

All tables are now in Markdown Table format. :tada:

Yeah. I saw that yesterday. I was going to post about it earlier, but never got around to it. This is just one of the nicer features about these new forums. If anyone creates a really helpful guide and ends up moving on to other things, hopefully someone else will be around to continue updating it. (Provided they made it a Wiki).

Looks like you’ve got some help after all, @Maskraider! :+1:

Great job, DogBone! :beer:

Good job, @DogBone

Wiki is a good feature for community.

This is a good and healthy start. Hope more contributors shall help to complete the list.

@MaskRaider-3992

I’ve added a menu and inter-page links.

The tables should be “rollup sections”. (haven’t figured out how to do that)

TODO:

  • Introduction paragraph needs to be filled in.
  • Link to “Classless Gear” is broken
  • Monk is missing “back to menu” link

Nice ToC. :+1:

I prefer plain style so that new players can use browser’s search to lookup.

What about a rollup on the “Historical” section only?

This wiki would be a good pattern for others.

“Historical” … you mean “Change Log” ?
That is fine to use rollup.

I should probably add a “change log” section.

I was referencing to the “This post was created by …” section.

ic, OK.

Sample Code
<details>
<summary>Change Log</summary>

||||
| :-: | :-- | :-- |
| Date | By | Change |
| 07/13/2019 | xxx | newly created |
| 07/14/2019 | yyy | add Change Log section |

</details>

Output:

Change Log
Date By Change
07/13/2019 xxx newly created
07/14/2019 yyy add Change Log section

Fair warning: Because anchors are in use, special care needs to be taken with <details>. I can get to it a bit later as I know where the anchors need to be. Put them in the wrong place and the links up top won’t work anymore. :slight_smile:

For the dates, i would recommend using the ANSI Date Format of yyyy-mm-dd.

(As a DB Developer, I’m a stickler for ensuring proper conversion of VARCHAR/VARCHAR2 to DATE)

It might not be that big a deal, but you might want to use mm-dd-yyyy instead. (Since this is the US forums).

Actually, yyyy-mm-dd has no ambiguous, I tends to prefer this format.

Second thought, we can see the change history using the pencil icon at upper right. Do we need to explicitly keep the change log ourselves?

Change done:

  • use Rollup for history section
  • sort DH section

Should the top section be rearranged?

Proposed Format:
