There’s no thread for these dudes… so I thought I’d craft one here. This is were the players can talk about everything related to Tuskarr;
A peaceful humanoid walrus-like people indigenous to the cold shores of Northrend and the Dragon Isles.

Tuskarr have been in WoW for a long time. They even appeared as far back as Warcraft 3:

I’d race change instantly.
Also, I don’t think there has been a race with fishing related racial bonuses or abilities. Would be a good choice for that!

Like as neato as tuskarr are
They’re one of the races in the game that legit have 0 reason to ever join alliance or the horde
They’re not a warring people, and generally live amongst themselves near the waters for fishing
The biggest conflicts we’ve helped them with was scourge/Wolvar/Gnoll
i’ll definitely roll half a dozen tuskarr if they make them a playable race.
Like them about the same as I do pandaren
Blubbery Muffin.
Just do it…

Something like this perhaps?
Oh wait, nevermind.

Didn’t saw this amazing post before!
Tuskarr playable race let’s go!
Probably Tuskarr can be any class now, Blizz is opening all classes for everyone.
And honestly I think they already have a lot of customisation for a playable race
Customisation:
Skin color,
Fur color,
Tusk color,
Size of tusks,
Eye colors,
eyebrows options,
mustache options,
beard options,
Flat tusks/carved tusks/paint tusks/broken tusks…
NPCs Tuskarrs have some equipments that are still unavaiable in game that could be added too.
Other options for racial mount outside Ottuks:
Turtles like in Northrend,
Mammoth(that are used too),
Tuskarr Shoreglider - as a flying option.
Tuskarr model already have many animations, would only need some more and is probably the easiest part to add.
And already have a specific totem for shaman

I thought they would be a complicated race to use equipment, but all the equipment scales well with them. I just don’t know about the helms, specially from tier sets, but many helms are ugly on Taurens and Worgens too.

Full support for the Tuskarr as a playable race!

I could see the Tsukarr in the Horde but they could work on the Alliance side too so the neutral option could be the best choice for them.
We could even get this for them: Moa’ki Harbor as capital city for the Tuskarr on the Horde side because of the Taunka in the Northrend and Iskaara as capital city for the Tuskarr on the Alliance side avoiding conflict between them if we get a new war against the Horde and the Alliance.

I found this on a website and I like it. We could get this background for our Tuskarr character in the character selection screen.

I think I’m more leaning towards a Horde tuskarr but I agree it’s very possible for them to be able to be neutral.
Having them have separate groups with their own cities I like a lot.

You can add Priest, Warlock, Monk and Death Knight because everyone can be this class now.

(( I copied my original post from another thread, but same subject ))
I’m still holding out hope for playable Tuskarr.
LOVE the OP’s thread and the effort they put in. My only suggestions: while I’m pining for Iskaara to be its capital, I think Mo’aki Harbor could be a perfect phased starting zone for the Tuskarr – or perhaps a couple travelling breadcrumbs to either Kaskala (Borean Tundra) or Kamagua (Howling Fjord).
There’s so many different zones to play with, assets are already present, there will be reasons to visit older zones again – MAKE IT HAPPEN, BLIZZ!
