Part 20 of my posts to try and get D4 improved. I am going to post one-three ideas per day for a month then post a table of contents at the end. Hopefully these can gain some upvotes and dev attention or comment! I was going to just do one post but it would have been way too big. Please upvote and keep it positive guys!!
Add a skill tree system for crafting and add crafting of items to game like D3 used to have. Crafting items with blacksmith or jeweler levels your crafting as well as rerolling items and giving the blacksmith and jeweler recipes. You can put 50 points max in crafting tree. You cannot put points from our current tree into the crafting tree or points from crafting tree into our current tree.
A crafting passive/skill tree tab is added to your player. Crafting tab can earn 50 levels maximum. The crafting skill tree has the same look, feel, and setup as current skill tree.
There are 6 classifications and then a keystone: Harvesting, Anvil (Blacksmith and Salvage), Grindstone (Jewelry), Forge (creating items), Enchanting (Occultist), and then the keystone choice. I give a couple examples how this could work with harvesting and anvil and keystones and some examples of passives.
