30 Improvements, Fixes, QoL

Part 1 of my posts to try and get D4 improved. I am going to post one-three ideas per day for a month then post a table of contents at the end. Hopefully these can gain some upvotes and dev attention or comment! I was going to just do one post but it would have been way too big. Please upvote and keep it positive guys!!

Apologies if anything here is inaccurate, already in game, or such.

IMPROVEMENTS, FIXES, QUALITY OF LIFE:

  1. Add a 7th slot to the hotbar that is only for ultimate skills. We need this so bad. Your ultimate cooldown timer is put above this 7th slot.

  2. Gems stack to 999.

  3. Aspect inventory size tripled and / or wonderful system that has permanent aspects added to codex used proposed by others.

  4. Current inventory changed into 4 tabs of same size as now. Tabs are weapons, armor, jewelry, gems / special season stuff and automatically sort for you when acquired.

  5. Increase the speed of slow events like the escort one.

  6. All players gain the Safe Zone buff in friendly areas. This gives 100% bonus movement speed.

  7. Ability to set your desired Favorite Safe zone by interactive with unlocked waypoints. This will make your town portals go to this area.

  8. Mounts have 3 new skills added.
    A) SNORT - Slow all close enemies for 3s. 8s CD
    B) GALLOP - 100% movement speed for 5s. Usable outside of PVP. 30s cooldown.
    C) SADDLE BAGS - Open your horses inventory. Horses can carry 20 items. Saddle bags automatically stores items when you are full if you are mounted. You can manually move items in or out of this as well.

  9. Mystery chests moved back to 175 to 200 shards. 250 was a mistake. You can see many less ppl choosing to farm helltides now.

  10. Change unique items color to Bright Teal so they dont clash with color of rares. Bright Green reserved for set items if those are added. Bright Purple could be Angellic items which is my thought on name for items in tier 5 that are better version of ancestral items.)

  11. Cursed clickables have a chance to unleash a cursed goblin on completion. This goblin teleports random distances when hit in the direction he is running. Hard to kill but rewarding!

  12. Allow any number of side quests to be carried at once.

  13. You start with all glyphs and so they do not need to drop first. Blue glyphs removed from the game. Additional glyph post coming soon adding legendary glyphs.

  14. Buttons added in paragon to Refund all nodes on a board and all nodes total with a slight discount of 10% and 25% respectively. A counter also tells you how many points you have invested in each board so you can compare builds and a side info section shows all the bonuses you have unlocked in each paragon board.

  15. Automatically pick up PVP seeds in range if no other player is in close or distant proximity.

  16. Tooltips added to what affixes are possible to reroll and what their ranges are.

  17. Ability to lock items to prevent unequipping, selling, salvaging, or such.

  18. Fix bugged builds that have been known to be broken for over a month. How can people choose to play how they want which you just advertised if their chosen way to play is broken and has been for weeks or months??
    Example - Charging bolt attracting to enemies aspect makes charged bolt cost more mana.

  19. Remove 90% of the dungeon doors and clickables to proceed in dungeon. It might be realistic, but it is so annoying. Clicking a door should mean something like the next room has elites.

  20. Warping to a dungeon immediately goes inside it and not next to it in world map. Cuts down on loading this way and is a better experience for user.

  21. Highlight paragon nodes that fill the requirement for slotted glyphs. Example - You put Exploit into a socket. All the DEX nodes will highlight green.

  22. Option to save filters on codex of power so I don’t have to click my class every time. :white_check_mark:

  23. More stash tabs added. At least to 10 right off and additional 1 earned per season to up to 20 total.
    How can path of exile allow selling tabs and we can’t handle more than 5?? Horrible stash tab logic where it loads other peoples stash tabs when you enter zone removed.

  24. Aspects that are obviously weak boosted. One example is Aspect of Splintering Energy. This is so bad even at 40-50% chance to summon extra spear when casted. Change this to 100% chance. In amulet has 50% chance to summon 2 extra instead of 1. In 2 handed weapon always summons 2 extra. Lightning spear is never used ever. Buff it a ton and others that suck.

  25. Option to show a DPS summary for entire party after you clear an event, dungeon, or such.

  26. Dungeons with whispering rewards show aspect that will unlock if you complete it.

  27. Dungeons in your consumable tab show what aspect will unlock if you complete it.

  28. World bosses power needs to be increased and rewards increased. World Bosses need to be actually bosses and not die in 5 seconds to that 400m DPS druid.

  29. Queue for party added for dungeons, leveling, ect. This is supposed to be a social and party experience but it doesn’t seem like it right now. Getting a party is too hard.

  30. Option to set your favored city for your town portal to always go here if my safezone idea isnt used.

  31. Add back armory so we can do different builds easier.

Great suggestions however at their rate it will take them over 2-3 years to implement half of these ideas.

Maybe some hope once Microsoft takes these guys over, do a little house cleaning.

At that point their better off making Diablo 5. This game needs to be scrapped in its current condition.

I agree with everything listed. Blizzard needs to hire this guy.

I could do good work for Bliz getting things on track and improving all aspects of game design including shop earning power.
