The purpose of this thread is for LGBTQ+ players of World of Warcraft to talk about game related things and experiences.

Acceptable topics include but are not limited to:

  • LGBTQ+ visibility days and issues.
  • Characters like Flynn and Shaw, Pelagos, and so on.
  • Sharing experiences and stories
  • Seeking and finding LGBTQ+ friendly guilds, communities, servers, and discords.

Unacceptable topics include but are not limited to:

  • Complaints about ā€œpoliticsā€, ā€œshoving it down our throatsā€, ā€œSJWā€™Sā€, etc.
  • Phobic behavior.
  • Trans exclusionary takes.

If you are someone who hates LGBTQ people, I ask you mute this thread and let us chill in peace.

And the OP has the right idea to make one master thread to stop the flooding on the forums

If anyone canā€™t see this and they come here to contest it then we should assume they donā€™t like this threat to their over the top trolling methods

An actual mega thread would be rad!
But the handful of trolls/bad-faith actors will continue to spam the forums with topics, and theyā€™re the only oneā€™s who are an issue.

Iā€™d like to have a discussion about Pelagos.

I like Pelagos and I like that heā€™s somewhat of a representation of transgender folks in game, however, I also find the fact that the character is dead mildly problematic.

We donā€™t know what world Pelagos is from so we canā€™t say for sure that heā€™s from Azeroth where one can probably get a permanent sex change potion.

I do think that itā€™s a good gesture but a slightly botched execution.
