What’s the point of grinding in Wrath if Cata is coming out?

I joined half way through TBC and it was so hard to find groups to raid with, if felt like every other guild was some form of LC that required parses and full consumes while you had the occasional dad guild that would fail on easy content and the rest were just GDKP spam. Someone said this to me today on Retail and I had mo clue if they were being serious or not. They went on this whole rant about how covenants and legendaries were a good system, how Torghast gave the game replay value and how great the art and sound was in this xpac. This kinda made me think, are we being too harsh on Shadowlands?

We need a Dragonflight Battle Pass

There’s already too many complaints about lack of content in DF. We need a Battle Pass type system where people can pay $10 to unlock it, gain each tier by completing some daily task like professions/fill crafting orders/PvP/PvE/etc. and then give out rewards like a WoW Token or Renown levels/gear and at the end put some exclusive Dragon armor/skin. I feel like you can rotate this Battle Pass out every patch cycle to keep people playing without feeling bored of a lack of grind or content tread…

Gladiator Mounts should be in the Twitch drop

Since we’re just devaluing the game’s oldest and rarest assets to push a rushed expansion whose primary feature is a “UI Change”, we might as well give out Glad mounts too and try to get as many people to play as we can for the first month only for them to all quit the next month.

Gearscore is actually good for the game

I’ve read a lot of opinions about gearscore being all about “gatekeeping” but I’m not sure I see the argument here. Gearscore isn’t your logs, it’s just the amount of gear you have and for all anyone knows you could’ve just GDKP’d it too and there’s people with high GS who aren’t even good at the game. It’s been 3 weeks and Northrend is already empty

I’m on Grobb just flying around on my Lv 71 boomy in Borean and there’s virtually no one questing anymore in open world, not to mention LFG has already slowed down quite a bit. Where’s everyone at? It feels like I’m playing a single player game.

Is it just me or is Wrath gameplay very boring?

I play Fury and this is my rotation in a 1 - 2 hour raid: Heroic Strike → WW/BT → Slam on proc Occasional buffs like 2 more buttons every couple mins. Rogue Rotation is literally just Envenmom and Rupture. Mage is even worse they only spam Arcane Blast and Missiles every now and then and can top DPS. All while people are pressing their 2 - 3 button rotation, they stare at the DPS meters hoping they can climb a little bit ahead of the other guy pressing his 2 - 3 button rotation so they can …

I can't play more than one character because RDF was removed

Funny how people are telling everyone to quests but they’re the same people that boost and say “questing is boring”. This has nothing to do with you so why are you max levels worried the hell the low players are doing? Community is so scuffed the F up.

It just keeps going, but I need to get back to work, emails are starting to stack up.
