You can bandaid fix it by Capping your FPS below 120. This is becoming a very well documented issue that Blizzard is not acknowledging.

PC Sounds like a Jet Engine

System Information: i7-10700KF stock clock settings 32 GB RAM 3200 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 w/ 10 GB VRAM GPU temperature: Hovers around 73 Celsius while in combat. Hovers around 68 Celsius idling. Abnormally high GPU usage during inventory / vendor menu

Dear Blizz devs, I’ve noticed that my GPU usage jumps to 100% and the fans go very high whenever I am in menu or inspecting an item for too long - note this was not evident at all during the initial early June 1 release patch of D4 - this only started happening after the patch released yesterday. GPU Load Increase While Talking with Vendor

I’m running an RTX 3080 with a 2K monitor. When talking to any vendor my GPU load can almost double, from 45% to 80%+. The vertical sync is off and my frame rate is limited to 110. I’ve installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Is this normal?

GPU going mad in inventory / vendor menu

I have the issue, that my GPU is totally going mad if I open my inventory or if I visit a vendor. Basically everytime this extra rendered char screen pops up it sounds like my GPU will start to melt soon. Had the same issue in both betas and still now. Have limited FPS to 60 with NVCP, but it did not help. (Have a rtx 3090). GPU Temp skyrocket when in inventory interface

My PC gets very hot and the fans spin very fast every time I let my inventory open. Other than that, the game has regular micro-stutters and lags (when teleporting to a new zone or when other players appear on screen).

Inventory/Vendor windows are causing massive uptick in GPU usage

As the title says, any time i look at my inventory or even at the character select screen, I hear my GPU rev up like it’s ready to go head to head with Dom Toretto in a race for pink slips. Something about the separate character rendering within these windows or character select is adding to the strain on lower-mid setups. I run an i7-9700k 3.6 cpu, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3600 ram. Huge usage / temp spikes

My GPU is showing huge usage/temp spikes when opening a shopkeep’s menu, inventory, or when viewing a dialogue (non-cinematic) cutscene. I’ve tried everything I can think of. FPS Capped to 120 in NVDIA setting. Reflex off. Different shadow and shader effects turned down. Nothing seems to resolve this issue, only mitigate it and stop the temps from reaching critical levels. This is the only game I have encountered that spikes this badly during mundane tasks.
