Greetings adventurers,
Please find below troubleshooting steps to help resolve issues with absent characters, on the World of Warcraft forum character select dropdown. These steps may also help with outdated or stale character data.
We recommend that you follow these steps completely and fully.

Visit the World of Warcraft forums and ensure that you are not currently logged in. If you are logged into the forums, please log out.

Log in to the World of Warcraft game client, and log each affected character into the World of Warcraft game world completely.

Log completely out of the World of Warcraft game world and close the World of Warcraft game client. (see step 4)

(optional) If multiple characters are missing from your account on the forums, you can first log into and then out of each character before completely closing the World of Warcraft game client.

Return to the World of Warcraft forums and proceed to log into your account.

Review your character select dropdown on the forums and confirm your character has appeared.

If a character is still absent from the forums, it may be helpful to wait a short period of time and then log out and then back into the World of Warcraft forums.

If a character is still absent from the forums after following the above steps, please report the issues following our Bug Reporting Guidelines.
