Yeah, and players who pay more money have the advantage of multiple accounts, which is why it’s bad. They pay more money for more power.

If a multiboxer runs into a single player in warmode, for example, they crush that character because one person is controlling multiple characters. They paid money for a power advantage.

Yes they do. One person has the power of multiple characters when somebody who doesn’t pay for multiple accounts does not have that advantage. It is literally paying for power. It’s literally the exact same as if you bought a piece of gear with money, except worse, because they have the power of an entire extra character at their fingertips, and not just a stat bonus.

Having the potential for power is not the same as having the power given with no effort.

You continue to mix up and jump to conclusions that because there is the potential for advantage by playing multiple account at the same time, this means it is a pay to win or even and “unfair” situation. That isn’t the case.

Everything you do with one or multiple accounts, has to be physically done and built, achieved and worked on by the player.

Again, ANYTHING that a MB can do, can be done with a single account if you know how to. Same on the other side of the argument, any result from fighting a MB, is going to be the SAME result against the same number of individual players group together.

false. you purchase subs with money in your blizzard balance, that you add to with a token, that was generated for $20.00. the coin has a value after purchase of $15 dollars.

Multiboxers are ruining the economy moreso now than ever before, i can deal with someone running 1-3 accts but lately ive been seeing people running 11 druids just farming zin’athid like its going extinct. In Looking for Dungeon with one person multi boxing 4 accounts. 2 accounts are doing nothing. Unable to kick. I end up getting kicked because I am playing with one account. Is multi boxing allowed just because Blizzard wants money? Or is there another reason? Multiboxing should not be allowed.

6 balance druid multibox FFA flagged got engaged on by a 117 fury warrior. Ended up killing themselves rather than the fury warrior. Was the funniest thing to watch happen. Those poor thunderchickens silenced themselves and just stood there taking the warriors beating, dropping one by one.

Multiboxing and Herbalism

So we are gonna go another 2 years with Multi-boxers dominating the herb market/spawn locations. Are we just happy with certain people being able to basically pay to win. It’s weird and really concerning how Blizzard has not addressed this. It great game play to get to a node and have it give nothing because of the abuse these players dish out to the system, and Blizzards willingness to look the other way in favor of the dollar these scrubs provide.

I love multiboxers

Lot’s of easy kills. Came across a boxer with 12 druids. Targeted the lead, our DPS went after him, while our tank hits incapacitating roar as the heals start up, then I run in warstomp when he tries to start the heals again, the lead goes down, and the rest are sitting ducks… Half of CTA in one shot. Question about Multiboxers

Hi, all! I want to start off by saying that I know about Blizzard’s general stance with multiboxers: in summary, it’s allowed as long as third-party software isn’t being used, that sort of thing. Suggestion: Isolate Multiboxers

Instead of trying to get the TOS amended to make Multi boxing bannable, what if we just scoot them over to their own shard, so that they aren’t impacting everyone else. The detection for that should be fairly simple. Course sift would be multiple accounts from the same IP address, then same zone, then check for key input similarities. You could probably check every active person every few minutes with this without impacting performance too much.

Multiboxing is out of control

I wish Blizz would fix the problem by reverting the ore/herb nodes back to single use. Resources go back to being valuable. Flasks become valuable. Inscription becomes valuable. Blacksmithing becomes valuable. Jewelcrafting becomes slightly less useless. No more obnoxious sled teams polluting the air. No more multiboxing scum.

When are you going to stop allowing multiboxxing?

Would love to play Shadowlands with a viable economy through out. You throttle the AH to try to dissuade people from using things like TSM when they aren’t the problem, multiboxxers are.

You realize that there are more ways to make gold then multiboxing right? I made over 10 million gold this expansion flipping one herb.

Every account is equal in power, but if one person buys multiple accounts, they have an advantage because they have the COMBINED power of all of those accounts. This is an objective truth. It doesn’t matter if each of those accounts has the same power as eachother. If one person only has one account, they can’t do anything about a person with 10 accounts, for example, hogging mobs and farming gold.

If your guild does that, it’s a different story, because you have to communicate and work with other people, and multiple players benefit. If ONE PERSON is farming a spot with multiple accounts than only that player benefits solely because they paid more money than a single player with one account.

The mental gymnastics everyone in this thread is making to justify multiboxing. There is a massive movement to ban multiboxing because it is obviously bad for the game. There are multiple videos of multiboxxers holding up a farm spot, and multiboxxers killing people in PVP. There is no two ways about it. Multiboxxers have an unfair advantage.
