When are you going to stop allowing multiboxxing?

Would love to play Shadowlands with a viable economy through out. You throttle the AH to try to dissuade people from using things like TSM when they aren’t the problem, multiboxxers are.

Nope, multiboxxers aren’t a problem. One character listing an item is still one character listing an item. Another character on another account doing the same is still the same, regardless of who owns the accounts. Same with herb gathering, mining, and so on, the account that harvests is the one who gets the stuff. It would be the same situation if one or multiple people were behind each account in the zone.

You’re so incredibly incorrect. When some multiboxer who is absolutely using a third party program to control all his bots flies around and herbs 8+ stacks off every herb because he’s doing it immediately over and over again, it amounts to THOUSANDS of extra herbs on the auction house. They may not support the programs, but they are ALL using them. It is impossible to herb / mine the same node instantly with so many boxes otherwise. Once they are herbed or mined, the nodes expire shortly thereafter. They do not sit there and persist for anyone to come along and herb/mine at any time in the future.

Multiboxing with third party programs, and bot farming gold or mats in addition are killing the game. The economies are destroyed making it ridiculously hard to make gold.

NO CLASS and NO MOUNT should allow you to herb or mine without dismounting. I know that’s going to raise a huge stink, but that needs to happen. And yes, I have a druid. It doesn’t matter.

inb4 panda who enjoys tanking markets because they can afford to drop prices because they’ve done the equivalent of 10 people worth of farming in a fraction of the time. “Price Gougers” You’re the one getting rich bruh.

Man, you all really love allowing this small handful of players live rent free in your head.

They will never punish people for paying 2/5/10/20/40 times more sub money than other players.

People who crash the market still need to earn x times as much gold as other players in order to keep playing all of their accounts.

You want to know the real reason the market is crashing? It’s the end of the expansion. That’s it. It has nothing to do with multiboxers.

Then Shadowlands will come out and new mats will go for a ton of gold. This happens every single time yet you lot are convinced it must be the evil multiboxers.

Probably when the new world economy takes shape and money goes the way of the dinosaur.

That’s not how multiboxing works. Like not even a little bit.

Each character performs a single action based on a single button pressed by a human being. The software involved does not generate any additional commands.

Do some research before posting about something that you know literally nothing about.

Go the other way. A multiboxer can only be in one spot.

Once you get that second character rolling the gold earned increases exponentially. Or you just pay with actual money. Multiboxers crash markets even mid expansion. The panda pretty much admits to doing it on purpse, or are you the panda? Multiboxers are bad for pvp & they’re bad for the economy.

Third party software sends a single command to multiple characters. Sounds like a bot to me, One Person, One Key Press. Not One Person, 20 key presses.

That’s not how it works.

Except they don’t.

Your opinions are not facts.

Bots are the true evil ones. Go to any zone virtually in Kul’tiras and Zuldazar and you’ll see level 111 Tauren and Troll Druids botting 24 hours a day.

They are in mass amounts every where, those are the ones that are causing the most problems.

One button press equals one action per client window.

Try again.

And it’s funny how these anti-multiboxers never really want to address actual botting. It’s almost like they have a vested interest in redirecting attention away from themselves.

That is how it works. Your gold/hour goes up drastically because youre doing 8 people’s worth of work in a fraction of the time.

Yes they do. There’s a mb on these forums who admits to doing it.

Facts don’t care about your feelings. MB is bad for the game.
