TL;DR Version: We raid Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays (Sunday attendance is optional) from 6pm to 9pm Pacific Time. We are looking for a Disc/Holy Priest, but we are considering all classes and roles at this time. Please have logs ready, we will ask for them. We ask all members of our raid team to do four things: be prepared, be present, be communicative, and be responsive. We are also looking for all classes and roles to join our M+ groups.
Unyielding was formed just in time for Dragonflight launch by many long-time WoW veterans. In each tier of this expansion, we have progressed further and faster than before. We are on track to do the same in Season 3 and we are actively seeking Lightbringer server 1st rank as well as striving towards CE Fyrakk. We are seeking raiders with aspirations of achieving CE to join our cause. Even if we do not achieve these goals in this raid tier (or expansion), our vision remains the same: to become one of the most distinguished guilds on the realm not only in terms of our raiding achievements, but also because of our genuine camaraderie and the impact we have on the WoW community.
Unyielding is unlike many other guilds in that our leadership team and most of our members are >30 years old. Many members of the team are current/former military, many are professional adults, and most are married w/ active family life outside of WoW. We all understand the importance of placing family, health, careers, education, and other real-life commitments before any obligations associated with playing a video game.
That said, we ask that every potential raider to commit to four things up-front:
-
Be prepared – we have performance goals for item level, DPS, HPS, and survivability. We will communicate our expectations each week in advance. While these targets are critical to the overall success of our raid team, we do not believe in removing people who are struggling and as long as they are putting forth the effort both on raid nights and off-nights, we will do our best to retain raid team members and empower their success.
-
Be present – if you sign up for our team, you should be willing and able to commit to our raid nights/times barring any unforeseen events. Being a member of a raid team is effectively making a commitment to 19-29 other people.
-
Be communicative – we get that life happens, but we do ask that all raiders communicate as proactively as possible if they are not going to be able to make it to raid nights on time. Between all members of the leadership team, we have someone available nearly 24 hours a day. We ask that any questions, concerns, or requests for assistance be communicated.
-
Be responsive – listen and react appropriately to raid leader instructions and be receptive to any feedback you are given, understanding that our intent is to be constructive.
