Didn’t take long for people to come in and start name calling.
We outta here boys. I wanted a simple conversation and possible answers about why the Mercy spam is still justified only to be met with comments from users that can’t do anything except insult and provide nothing to the conversation.
But considering this kind of spam has been happening for well over 3 months now, I’m really sick of it.
NB4 mercy mains say “Well people spam about balance changes! So this is nothing out of the normal.” People spam about balance changes for maybe a week. People also make topics revolved around different points of discussion on balance of a specific hero. Not just saying “THIS IS HORRIBLE REWORK REVERT” over and over.
I really wish the mods would start banning players for this kind of spam.
Quite frankly, being a hero in a game has nothing to do with the fact the community of mercy mains is going completely insane about her for no good reason.
Maybe you should stop using discussion forums if all you’re going to do is personally attack someone for not caring/understanding the entire premise of the mercy spam.
Seriously though, better brace for the storm coming. For all the proclaimed Mercy hate, most people grew dependent on her healing and rez. Now that her heal dropped in reliability, entire community will need to enter “git gud” stage, and learn how to play with other healers. + support mains will actually have to switch now, which, overall, is a new concept. Cries will be appropriate in the spread.

We know. You told it to everybody over a hundred times already, again and again and again. That’s why you are asked to stop already, or at least contain it somewhere.
And not making topics about it wont get us anywhere as well. We all want a fix now. Not later. Now. We’ve endured this for over a year.
We genuinely are not in the wrong, if you don’t like Mercy topics, maybe you should help us out in having our hero fixed and not completely gutted by incompetent devs?
I’m condemning people because it’s repetitive. Not their beliefs. Not their ideas. But the way they present the ideas, which, in my opinion, is the only way you can actually condemn people on a discussion forum.
And yet here we are, with no answer or anything from any devs.
Blizzard tried, their own system broke the megathread, and they gave up on trying to keep it up. Got to the point where a Mercy player made a joke megathread that mimicked the real one, only to have Blizzard merge threads into that fake one.

Spamming the same thing over and over leads to flagging it as spam leads to it getting locked.
At that time when Jeff mentioned Mercy in a thread about Brigitte Mercy mains were not concerned about her balance wise, they were concerned about her being boring.
You must be kidding. Even with official megagrave running ,there were still at least 6 separate Mercy topics per day. They were just swiped away faster.
Also, Blizz gave you the answer at least 3 times already. You just chose not to accept it. And what’s the point of repeating something over and over if they don’t listen? to fill up forums with mirrored topics? It’s spam. Pointless spam.
I highly doubt that there are people who spend that much time flagging the thread right as it opens to have it be locked. A popular idea is that the flags from other posts merged into the megathread affect the thread. So with that theory, technically it is Blizzard’s fault for not putting in the time to fix it.
Honestly, mercy spam is getting as annoying as the LGBT spam. So yes, players are fed up with it. And yes, we are starting to flag everything we see that’s about mercy as spam. Because it is.
Nevermind Jeff said that before more nerfs. She’s been nerfed again. Also, them thinking Mercy is in a fine place is no gauge on if she actually is in a fine place. At that point in time, if you asked anyone who plays her I guarantee they would have disagreed with that. Even now, pretty sure many people disagree.
May I ask you what exactly you want us to do then? If we aren’t allowed to post threads because it’s repetitive to you and like 100 other people? Compared to the thousands of Mercy players who are unhappy with how she’s being treated? What do we do, genuinely tell me. Because the only way we’ll get ANY change is if we keep talking. We aren’t happy, and we are not being treated well. How many massive posts pointing out how Mercy is flawed at the moment do we need to make to make our point matter?
