Brigitte:

Shield Bash

  • Stun is replaced with Dizziness.
    • Dizziness locks all mobility-skill abilities besides basic jump.
  • Cooldown reduced to 5 seconds, down from 7 seconds.

Results:

  • She can still 1v1 Tracer very well.
  • Less effective at dueling higher HP heroes.
  • And a lot less impact on Tanks.
  • Generally way less frustrating to play against.

She should just burst into flames as soon as you try to shield bash.

Morning everybody, so here’s the idea.

I figure this would make Brig a lot less frustrating, and a bit more specific to her gameplay role.

While still accomplishing her main goal of being a backline defender against flankers.

Brig’s not fine.
She’s a bit too capable as a 1v1 DPS, and a solo-flank assassin at higher ranks.

The only argument is that:

We shouldn’t balance things on what people see as fun, right? That’s the picture I’m getting from everything else. She’s frustrating, yeah, but so are a lot of other things.

In simpler terms, Brig is too good at too many things.

She’s supposed to heal, offtank, be hard to kill, and kill Tracer.

This post is trying to focus her kit on doing that. Not 1v1ing every hero in the game.

She was designed to be good at 1v1’ng though? In order to counter flankers and such and punish those who are out of position? Hmm, that reminds me of another character, who was it… Pig Street? Highway Boar? I dunno.

Well, Brig has exceptionally high winrate at every skill tier.

It’s pretty clear to see, that is the unusual one.

1v1 Tracer.

But no character should be good at everything.

Much less a “Support”.

Limits on a characters capabilities promote “Reliant Teamplay”.

She’s not “Good at Everything”. If your team is “Competent” and they “Work Together”, it’s not that hard to “Kill Her”.
