Change 1 - Xrealm has put us in this fiasco of AFKers/Queue dodgers/Endless warlord premades. This change was used to help horde have shorter queue times in PVP because people like to stack horde for their PVP racials
AV queue change - Horde complained endlessly because they could not queue into the same Av due to them stacking their faction and not being able to do this - again this was an option available to both factions but horde couldnt because they already stacked their faction for a PVP advantage that wasnt yet enough.
You cant have Xrealm without battlegroups - you have 2400 rated BG teams in retail coming in here and stomping people that just want to play the game. Blizz will do nothing about this though and hope the top tier players eventually cycle through and it stabilizes… this will happen at the same time the game is dying because of this issue.
Now you see all these forum posts by horde players askin about balance changes and now wanting MERCENARIES??? Just turn this crap into retail already.
Blizzard has killed classic - this was never vanilla PVP
1st notable change was to the schedule, bringing us BGs mid-p2. Second notable change was an attempt to fix the AV premade exploit, while also increasing the minimum number of players before a BG starts. 3 changes over 2 hotfixes, 2 of those changes directly benefiting Alliance due to Alliance complaints.
But let’s keep pretending a single faction is to blame for all the woes you experience throughout life.
Cross realm battlegrounds were out longer than not cross realm.
AV que change to stop having instant premades and getting 20k+ honor an hour was actually a good change. It was taking advantage of a broken system, blizzard removed the ability for abuse.
Merc mode - no. Just no.
You were always going to get premades - now people are just a lot better at the game than they were before… Start a PUG premade or join one. As soon as their scout see’s that its another premade and likely to be a fight - you’ll probably wind up with a PUG in return and roflstomp them.
Most people went horde for PvP this time around to focus on racials instead of focusing on having balanced que times and games. I personally am in the middle of rolling an alliance toon for PvP because why the F not? Im frustrated with PvP ques being a mostly PvP player and I’m working at changing that. “oh no I lost so much time!!!” its still really early in the games life and now that most people have MC gear you just waltz into a guild and get geared out in a day. BOOM.

The secret is that close to half of us are not male. But I’m personally not fussed if you by default call me bro or dude or brother or whatever, because I’m just here to play and have fun. (Although my fix is to refer to the person by their character’s gender unless they suggest they would prefer otherwise.)
