Not sure how long investigation takes as this seems to be an on-going issue for some time and affecting more and more players as time goes on. Based off individuals I know and have played with, having inactive accounts that were stripped and restored 5+ years after it happened seems like the records for progress are kept.
If I had to take a poke in the dark on the guess, unlock of WoL, HotS & LotV Campaign, thus their associated commanders, was not done cleanly. The whole Collection tab and the integrated monetary purchases nobody actually buys…
You are telling me that this happened in Feb 10th and in 3 months you havent been able to patch the game and fix this?
this happened to me in the maintenance yesterday on 5/5, i had kerrigan as my main and raynor and artanis close behind in level all reset to 5 and not allowing me to level further saying that they need purchased.
I just got hit with this bug as well, all starting commanders locked to level 5. US server as well.
I am also experiencing this. For sure just finished Raynor’s third prestige fully leveled and prestiged, I’m not 100% sure what kerrigan was at, and artanis was 2/3 prestige I believe. Now they are all reset to level 5

This is also happening on my Raynor who I have maxed out to p3 level 15, Kerrigan who is level 9 and Artanis who is maxed out to p3 level 15. I wonder why it didn’t happen to any of the other ones.
I also have the Raynor/Kerrigan/Artanis bug.
Same Rayner, Kerrigan & Artanis locked at lvl 5
I also have the Raynor level 5 bug, do we need to do anything to fix it? or will Blizzard fix it automatically on their side?
Same here, all three starter commanders are locked to level 5, others are fine.
I am also experiencing the same issue with Artanis, Kerrigan and Raynor cap at level 5. Prestige level is still showing the correct level.
Hey all,
We’ve passed the info along to the Starcraft II team so they are aware of the new issues after the maintenance on May 5th. You all won’t need to do anything on your side as it should be fixed on the back-end.
We’ll post an update here if we hear anything. Thank you for the reports.

got the problem now
Raynor can not be upgraded, no more xp can be gained.
And the error text is:
progression is capped at level 5 until purchased
I just started playing SC2 again after and a year and my free commands are cappedat lvl 5
Yeah hell nah I just logged on my SC2 account and my Artanis is stuck at level 5 I know I didn’t reset its levels, I kept it at max level 15

I also have this issue, but additionally - I recently returned to the game and I have no idea when but lost a large number of mastery levels in the interim. I recalled having over 100 points in the past. bizzare.
Just logged in and my Artanis and Raynor reset to level 5. I was 50+ mastery. WTH.
