Diablo 2 resurrected release date and beta date

D2 beta should be june 29th to mark the aniversay of diablo 2. Along with the release date, anything less and I will have disappointment if your going for the holidays at least announce it, if its closer then that then you can pick a day at this point half the year is over should be able to pin point a day.

Diablo II: Resurrected Single Player Technical Alpha start: April 8th/9th, 2021(7 weeks since announcement)
Diablo II: Resurrected Single Player Technical Alpha end: April 12th, 2021
Diablo II: Resurrected Multiplayer Stress Test Beta start(my guess): May 27th/28th, 2021(7 weeks since Single Player Technical Alpha start)
Diablo II: Resurrected Multiplayer Stress Test Beta end(my guess): May 31st, 2021
Diablo II: Resurrected Release Date(my guess): Tuesday, June 29th, 2021

That would give exactly one month to release after Beta ends!

I’m still hoping for a June 29th, 2021 release date for D2: R, but this is probably how it will play out, or at least closely:

Chains of Domination release: End of May
TBC Classic release: Mid June(The WoW releases might be vice versa, etc., or may release later depending on their current beta testing)
D2: R beta: End of May to Beginning of June
D2 Ladder Reset: Beginning of June(gives some time for players to play og D2 Ladder before D2: R release)
D3 Season 23 ends: Between End of June to End of July
D2: R release: Some time during the end date of D3 season(End of June to End of July)
D: I release: September

Well, the Bnet App just updated with TBC Classic releasing June 1st! So, I was pretty much right on that one! Let’s see what else I can get right on!

TBC was originally planned to be released 3rd of July (leaked from battle.net app) but they figured it’s too soon i guess so it’s getting pushed later this year.

I still believe that Beta will be soon. D2 Ladder will reset in beginning of June to give people one last “oomph” at og D2 Ladder before D2: R release. D3 Season 23 will end between end of June to end of July(possibly beginning of August if it is exactly 128 days like previous two seasons: April 2nd, 2021 + 128 day season length = August 8th, 2021) based on previous season lengths. This will give perfect timing for a D2: R release during this time period of D3 Season 23 end. So, D2: R will probably release between Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 to Tuesday, August 10th, 2021! Mark it, and sign it!

If my guess about the Beta start on May 27th/28th, 2021 is correct then they’ll probably give us an announcement on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021! Two weeks from now! Still gives them time to tweak the game from the Alpha Test Feedback!

The announcement for Beta should be within the next week, or two. The Beta will probably start at the end of May/beginning of June like I predicted above!

I agree 100% with you they “Blizzard” needs to be more open with the community about what’s going on. That’s the very least I expected pre ordering D2r, that we be receiving updates consistently via the forum, **I was Way wrong on that one.

I let my WoW time expire since the TBC pre-patch sucked if you didn’t already have a 60 (and I’m not going to pay them for a boost). TBCC will be the first major WoW release in the entire game’s history that I don’t bother playing on release.

D2:R is the only Blizzard product left coming out this year that I have any interest in. I hope it’s soon.

I have a feeling they may have pushed it back to not compete with 9.1 and TBCC though. That would be extremely disappointing since I’m not interested in either. Still holding onto hope for an anniversary release even though it’s only a month away with zero indication that even beta is starting soon…
