WoW Token Purchase (with gold) Failure

I purchased two WoW tokens with gold approximately 10 minutes ago, on Etamalgren-WyrmrestAccord (6:48 Eastern Time). I saw “You won an auction for WoW token” two times in my chat log, but no WoW tokens arrived in my mailbox.

…where did my WoW tokens go?

This is a bit odd - I have not seen this before.

I SEE them in your mail, but they aren’t accessible to you.

I’d open a ticket on this, let a GM have a closer look.

Interesting as others have been reporting this same issues… With your admittance that these tokens could be in the mail system but not accessible seem to indicate that blizzard may not have removed the halt on the sale of these tokens as posted a few weeks ago.

That I couldn’t tell you, Cooperbrew - this is the first example like this I’ve seen. I’m not entirely sure what caused it - or what it means.

You will have to open a purchase failure or problem with purchase ticket.

Came here to report same issue, attempted to retrieve mail and it’s as stuck as it gets. Will attempt to get a ticket to work, but that’s a quarter of a million gold (almost) that I really don’t need to go MiA.

Hi, this happened to me yesterday and my problem was fixed as of this morning.

I recommend opening a ticket, as that has worked for me and someone else in a different thread I was talking about this problem in.

The GM who helped me today said that, both the tokens I bought were mailed to me properly, but somehow, they both were deleted before I ever saw them. It was suggested to me that an addon could have potentially automatically deleted the mail, but I can’t imagine which one would have done it. I never even looked away from my screen when I bought them. I never saw any mail.

I suggest disabling all addons on your next token purchase. When you open a ticket, mention this to them. Tell them which character you bought the tokens on and ask them to check if you have deleted mail, or perhaps need to have your mailbox refreshed, as that worked for someone else I read about today.

Yeah I just bought a WoW token just recently and it didn’t appear in my mail box

If this is the case, then a ticket needs to be put in immediately. Deleted mail can only be seen by a GM for a short period.

If it’s any consolation, I went to bed after this issue last night and my problem was fixed over 12 hours later. I agree that anyone with this problem should act, post haste, but don’t stress if it takes some time for your ticket to be seen.

On it. …“Purchase Failure” is the category it should be under, despite being purchased with gold and not real money, right?

EDIT: Ah, found a “WoW Token Purchase Problem” category, but that’s talking about purchasing WoW tokens with $ from the in-game store… hrm.

EDIT 2: Went with the WoW Token Purchase Problem category.

Either one should really be fine Etamalgren

It happened to me too. I opened an in-game ticket. Hopefully I get my token soon.

Just happened to me. Mail recovery did not work. I have no idea how to open a ticket without lying about it.

Thank you.

Got a response to my ticket that said the WoW Tokens were pushed to my mailbox, and indeed they were.

…interestingly, the WoW token mails only had a 14 day timer on them unlike the normal 30 days of AH mail, or 365 days of customer service related mail… I could’ve sworn WoW token mail used to have a longer timer than 14 days…
