Starting to get nervous

I just bought two WoW tokens in-game and they weren’t mailed to me immediately, like always. It’s been about 10-15 minutes and I still don’t have them. It’s not a UI bug, they’re just not there. I have no mail.

I’ll probably wait until tomorrow morning before I open a ticket, if they’re still not there, but it freaks me out, because unless Blizzard can see things I’ve recently purchased off the AH, there’s no actual transaction history listed for this. It only shows up as a transaction if you use the token.

So on my account, it doesn’t say anything about me buying them. One of these tokens was a gift from a friend, who mailed me the gold to be able to buy it, so I really hope I don’t get screwed on this exchange.

The reason I’m making this thread is to hopefully be able to rest at ease tonight by asking, has anyone here ever bought a token in-game that took a really…really uncomfortable amount of time to get mailed to you?

I’m gonna be alright yeah? 500k is not a small amount of gold for me. :grimacing:

Good news! My problem was resolved!

Apparently, somehow my mail containing the two tokens got deleted. I wasn’t aware that was even possible, because it says in some support article somewhere, that tokens can’t be deleted. The GM that helped me said it could potentially have been an addon that did it, but I can’t imagine which one it would have been.

For those who have experienced this problem, make sure to just disable all addons, next time you buy a token, just in case. I know I will.

Did you get an email from blizzard?

Did it actually go through the confirmation process while you were making the purchase?

If you did and didn’t get an email I would contact blizzard.

Something is up with servers. Someone told me they got a login queue earlier, but then I didn’t. I tried to reload UI a few min ago because my talents weren’t showing up and the game froze for 10s then reloaded.

Someone else in-game couldn’t see innkeepers.

I wouldn’t stress on it, this has happened to me too in the past and ultimately the sales end up either going through, or your gold comes back to you in the mail.

People gota buy them with gold first , so you gota wait for someone to buy your tokens, could be 2- 10 hours

He’s talking about the tokens themselves. Not the proceeds of after selling them.

It could be one of those situations like with vending machines; where you need to buy a few more goodies to get the goodie you were after. Buy a few more coins to knock the others loose.

If i was him i would go to his bank / credit card and see if he was charged

That’s never happened to me.

I always immediately get a message in the UI after opening the in-game e-mail, where I either get to choose 30 days game time or $15 Blizzard bucks.

The wording of your description sounds strange, not sure what you should do, but probably submit a ticket.

Since 2015 (or whatever time the tokens were introduced), I have paid exclusively with WoW tokens.

Some of the other replies on this thread are questionable.

Any update? I just bought 2 tokens as well and neither has shown up…really frustrating issue. I wanted to use it for something and now I’m stuck wondering if my gold is just gone and i wasted all that for nothing.

Charges can take up to 24 hours to go through. No ticket is needed until after the 24 hours.

The amount of confusion in this thread is unreal. People are complaining about tokens bought with gold not showing up in their inventory, not $$$.
