the game gave me an option today in support to ‘recover mail’. i tried it, but just keep getting a spinning wheel of death that says, ‘loading mail contents’. i put in a ticket with a screenshot of this, so hopefully they’ll be able to recover all of our tokens.
Please do pop in a ticket, this is being looked into as to what may be the underlying cause.
I had this happen this morning and put a ticket in. Just a few minutes ago, I got a message that “There’s a known issue right now where token auction mails got deleted for some reason” and they resent me the token I bought. They actually got back to me within a few hours so I was happy to get it resolved fairly quickly.
Never received my token as well. opened a ticket but my game time expires in 2 hours so hopefully someone answers fast.
I just had this happen to me, purchased a token with wow gold and never received it.
Just had this happen to me, the ticket i have opened twice is not even showing. and Purchase history doesn’t show it but my gold is gone and spent from my inventory.
I posted a theory early about what could have bene happening… but felt it didn’t catch Blizzards attention. So I deleted it… But my theory is still valid and I’ll bet this is what’s happening to you an others buying tokens… Sorry to say, I can’t repost this or I may get a warning.
I will pray for all the best to those who’ve lost gold doing this buy. Ironically, when I purchased a token I didn’t buy it from the AH, I went through Blizzard and then posted at AH. I made it clear to anyone wanting my tokens, they should be familiar with those whom are selling them. Trust name trusted source.
Tokens are region-wide, not only for the server of the Seller. The one you posted on the AH would be available to anyone within this region.
Also, Tokens bought from the Blizzard Shop and placed on the AH do not have a Seller’s name attached to them.
And to add onto this: Tokens aren’t given names of the seller, just that’s it’s a token on the system for sale.
True, but this was a very long time ago… and things change. I no longer sell tokens at any AH just in case others claim I do…
That has been the method of their use from day one.
Nobody (outside of you, Blizzard, and anyone you felt needed to know your personal business) would have any clue that you placed a Token on the AH.
Even if it had, hunches aren’t even remotely enough to temporarily postpone a valid payment method used legitimately by the vast majority of people using it to buy them.
Figured I would pop in here to add to this instead of creating a new thread. Just bought a token, did not receive it in mail, even though it took my bloody gold. Last token needed to get War Within, too. Thank you to @Kozzae for giving us the actual ticket link, NO IDEA how to even get to that option myself.
Just happened to me now, purchased and didnt get it. Will there be a fix or did I just wasted 240k?
Put in a ticket that was recommenced to do.
The responses in this thread will get you righted.

For more information, the token I bought today is showing as Expired in the Mail Return service.
Bought 4 wow token in AH, 1st 3 did not appear in my mail. Gold was taken.
Relog and bought the 4th token, only the 4th token appear in my mail.
3 wow token missing and Gold was taken. Ticket has being open and waiting for GM to take a look
