There are already plenty of posts about this issue in the Bug Report forum as a simple text search reveals.
Pre-11.0.0, the Summon Random Favorite Mount would do two things if the favorite mounts contained only ground and traditional Steady Flight mounts in zones that did not support Skyriding:
It would prefer mounts that support Steady Flight when making its selection
Said Steady Flight mounts would actually fly

After Switching Flight Style, the Summon Random Favorite Mount will always summon Otterworldly Ottuk Carrier, even when I swap to skyriding mounts.
I have 120 mounts on favorites, 71 of them are flying mounts.
This means when I switch to Skyriding, I will need to either summon a specific mount or reload before summoning, because the Otterworldly Ottuk is a steady-flying only mount and I risk falling to my death on take-off.
For various reasons, I prefer old flight, but now when I use my random mount button, it just summons my Otherworldly Otter. That’s the ONLY mount it will use, none of my other 642 mounts, just…that one.
The Summon Random Favorite Mount is broken. If you are using Steady Flight in an area where you can fly, it still defaults to any GROUND ONLY mounts and refuses to switch to a flying mount that is usable in the area. If you are in Skyriding, a Skyriding mount will be summoned. Please FIX THIS!!! Not everyone wants to use Skyriding 100% of the time and having to un-favorite my favorite ground mount is super lame! Random Favorite mount option will only select ground mounts when in steady flight mode. It’s just in the toggle as soon as dragonflight is re-enabled the summon option will work for all flying mounts.
