• Q: What happens once the community caps out at 1000 players? • A: We plan to create additional communities under the Horde PvP Community as the need arises. Blizzard may be opted to increase the 1000 cap as communities will gather larger player bases once BFA is released.

As for my background... I created one of the largest WPVP events in the games history. Affecting 35000 players and multiple realms during the World of Warcraft anniversary holiday week in 2015. I was approached by the PVP Community Discord leadership team to head their Horde pvp community group and to be their Event Coordinator. Q. How will we deal with the 1000 community group cap? A. Upon reaching member cap we plan to fully integrate the Horde PVP Community Group with the PvP Community Discord. At this time we will do one of 3 things: 1. Fully integrate into the discord and have 800+ members remain using the community group and discord. 2. Fully integrate into the discord and split into 2 community groups of 500+. This will allow everyone access to both communities simultaneously. 3. Petition to blizzard to increase the community group cap and let us actually play together as an MMO. "#3. probably wont happen"
Q. How will events and tournaments be held? A. We will be posting the events and tournaments as they appear in the community group's event channel and on the "PVP Community" discord to make it reachable to everyone.
Q. Who can create events and tournaments? A. Anyone may create an event or tournament. We ask that you contact our mods and leadership on discord first so we can officially support the event by: reserving the date, creating the resources you need to run the event, and giving you power needed to enforce event rules within the game and discord channels.
We are working with various pvp communities to team up into one. We are part of the official pvp community group of the wow community. Much like wowhead is the goto site of information these days. We will be in the process of contacting blizzard about our 3 community groups, 1 alliance ,1 horde, & 1 Bnet to gain an unlimited user cap. This will only happen once we hit a user cap 50,000 or more around the BFA launch. Further more major changes like these will happen until the second major patch in BFA at the soonest. These changes would require additional coding of the game and bnet services that take time to complete. We will likely do options 1 or 2 from the community group FAQ until that time.
As for the Alliance community group, I am not aware if one has been created yet. We are working on building these communities one step at a time. Our main focus at this time is making sure everything is in working order and easy to access. We do offer the Bnet PVP Community and the Discord PVP Community to everyone until the alliance community is fully created.
I am not the head of the pvp community by any means, this is a joint effort by everyone in it. I am only one of the people they reached out to run this particular part of the community, because of the pvp events I have held in the past. I am here today to share my passion for the game and to see the horde pvp community grow as a whole.

Did some massive overhauls to the community group nearing 500+ horde members in game, an additional +400 on our BNET community, and over 1300 on our discord community.
We are growing by about 150 members per day for each community.
did some major updates once again to the community interface super easy to navigate now I have an MOTD that explains how to do alot of cool tricks with the community group options. We are pushing near 700+ members now. About time to start pestering DEVS to increase the community cap.
