Why classic shouldn't get new content

I'm just going to get straight to the point with this. If Blizzard started adding new content to classic, It could easily get to the point that people would start asking for Classic again. And I don't think anyone wants to deal with that situation again.

Is Classic going to have patches and new content?

Okay, I know this question probably sounds extremely stupid, but I am completely in the dark about this. So, are they going to add patches for new content and the same ordeals that modern WoW gets? Or is it going to be the same content with only bug fixes and other things in that criteria?

So as per the last question Ian just said basically new content is possible depending on the player base, but nothing is in the works for anything but classic launch yet.

Adding New Raid Content to Classic

I’m looking forward to Classic. In Vanilla, I raided through MC, BWL, AQ, and earned my attunement to Naxx but never got to see the bosses at level. But once the majority of the players clear the content and/or the number of active players goes down - like a coiple years from now - what happens next? I would like to see a team work on new level 60 content for Classic servers only. They could patch in spec viability for hybrids especially, and new raid content like the Emerald Dream or something…

New Classic Content?

Say Classic becomes a success and has a good number of players logging on consistently. Would it make sense for blizzard to create content within the confinements of Classic Post Naxx - sayyyy - 2 years from Classic's release? I'm talking about new content on Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor with classic classes and races only.
