Say Classic becomes a success and has a good number of players logging on consistently. Would it make sense for blizzard to create content within the confinements of Classic Post Naxx - sayyyy - 2 years from Classic's release?
I'm talking about new content on Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor with classic classes and races only.

Why would they change classic if it's successful?
would assume we would get the option to move onto TBC servers.
I'd rather have TBC server launches and always be able to come back and see my 60s in glory
Then it wouldn't be Classic (to parrot the #NoChangers)
If it becomes a success they will not change it, why would they? as long as people play it's fine. They might add some content if the sub count gets too low to a point where it's not profitable though.
It's the mistake they did post lich king, it topped at 12M subscriber but they went with "no, let's destroy the whole game and change it, who cares if 12 million players like the game".
And then it went downhill, until now, still going down in BFA.

Classic must always remain Classic WoW with no changes or additions.
However, with that said.
I would not object to OPTIONAL servers where they expand on Classic WoW in some ways such as an alternate time line or TBC server or something like that.
The only stipulation I place is that Classic WoW servers remain intact and are not "upgraded" like they were in TBC.
A means of "lateral" expansion has been put forth by numerous players; here are some of their ideas.
No level cap increase
No item level increase past Naxxramas.
No homogenization of Class designs (things that took place in TBC / Wrath)
Perhaps some minor tweaking of class abilities, but extremely light alterations only so that the game play remains "Classic"
Some people will QQ and point out things like Retribution needs buffs, but these sort of issues can be "Fixed" with very minor talent tree alterations; and I mean very minor. It does not take a lot to make a massive difference as seen in 1.11 with the seemingly minor buff to shield slam that massively changed the entire game.
This is why a very small "change" can be extremely harmful to the game overall, and why these things must be handled with care.

Doubtful. If classic became more popular you might see them change retail to be more like classic.
See 1 of the previous 100+ threads that did not cap on this subject.
The answers are still the same.
1)Lets let classic launch.
2)Lets play classic for a bit
3)Lets see what blizz comes up with TBC? Wrath? Wow 2? Server resets? Fresh realms? Progression servers into BC? Progression servers into what if wow? Lost content wow?
Yea. Nothings changed since the last time you posted this.
Still hasn't been one boar killed on official retail Classic realms......

That is ironic my friend.
i would like to see new Classic Content as long it follows philosophical design of classic Wow with (questing, dungeon, zones, etc.) with no LFG,LFR, etc it can help the game in long run.
Watch the announcement video, they talked about Classic always being there even if you left and came back everything would be there. So no, Blizzard isn't doing what you want OP.
Blizzard does not want to run two MMOs.
It would be better to think of "Classic" as a server type for "World of Warcraft", rather than a totally new, separate game.
