Maybe this one?
Are you referring to the topics regarding removing raids entirely?
I dunno… Kinda feels like OP has an agenda.

I dunno… Kinda feels like OP has an agenda.
Games in RPG-related genres are pretty explicitly not built with instant action in mind. If they were, they wouldn’t be RPGs.
Their “agenda” is trolling GD. They’ve been doing it for years and people still fall for it. Every single time!
lets have a template expansiom and all we do is just collect xmogs for 2 years.
Well that’s why we have catchup gear and gear inflation, so coming back to the game doesn’t have to feel like you are very far behind.
Hey if I had my way, WQs and stuff would be a raid tier back again.
Progress lines before being thrown straight in, actually gearing up and getting T sets. Alt run nights to… y’know, actually play in raids. Going hunting for offset xmogs.
… Oh, right. Blizzard killed all that this time around…
Yea, I’m thinking MMO’s probably aren’t for you then.
I’m not sure if you actually played more than half the games you posted if you think gear doesn’t matter in them.
Isn’t Monster Hunter a game 100% about collecting mats to make gear, is 95% gear reliant and 5% managing a crappy camera?
It takes dedication and a blind belief in your own position. From that perspective the OP obviously scored bigly.
The thing is gearing keeps people playing instead of just coming and going like you.
raises hand
This is actually false on this game. You need gear if you want to beat stronger monsters in the game. Otherwise they just 1 shot you. This goes for Behemoth or any Arch Tempered monster in the game. Yet it’s stupid successful and a massive update for the game is coming very soon. So on this game, you’re wrong. Without gear progression this game would have become outdated super fast.
I’ve seen their name around and know they’re a forum troll.
Of course I try and call out a forum troll and people get snarky, saying “so instead of formulating a defense you just try and say the poster is a troll”
Well, sometimes the defense is making it clear the thread was created by a Troll with no intention to do anything BUT troll. Not everyone seems capable of spotting an obvious forum troll or just doesn’t know the poster’s history.
Now that said, sometimes a troll CAN bring up a valid point, even if their original intent was to troll and get negative reactions.
So when I see troll threads like this, I’m perfectly willing to discuss matters seriously when possible.
So its not that I’ve fallen for bait, but more that I’m willing to take their discussion in a direction they did NOT intend. Can’t always do that of course.
For eating I agree… However for pies Honeycrisp > *
MMORPGs are about time investment, so of course people that play regularly will have at least a slight edge.
Also, catch up gear exists and is good enough to get a new/returning player started on the latest content.
Play with a controller. Not kidding, made my life much easier.
I use granny smith for pies. We cant get honeycrisp here.
Elise(Swedish cultivar) are good too but the availability of any given Swedish apple is … unpredictable.
There’s just something about granny smith apples in pies … I can’t put a finger on it. The results are always better if you use granny smith. Never had Elise so I can’t comment on them. Now I’m going to have to see if I can find them locally. That’s one thing I like about where I live, lots of foreign stuff that is hard to find elsewhere in the US.
I dont think Sweden exports apples actually.
We dont export much for food. Mostly tech, music, iron and wood.
And recycle other countries’ trash.
That’s a bummer. Since moving to Washington state I’ve experienced a wide variety of food from numerous countries. Honestly … I feel for Americans who haven’t at least tried foreign food.
Now obviously, I can’t say I like all of the foreign food I’ve tried, but it has certainly expanded my taste buds!
