Ofc social media destroyed mmo’s to a certain degree - these original MMO’'s were the social media back in the days…plus an online game - which was kind of a novelty as well.
btw I agree with you OP…but banning discord won’t do anything. Social WoW is gone, unless you’re lucky enough to have held onto your guildies of 10+ years

Ive used them all and you know is rmt even a issue with the token existing. Remember rmt while bad is bannable. The token makes this game basically p2w.

i think the token came about where players would buy from a shady websites and get there accounts hacked and blizzard might have hated to restore them back.
and this game is not p2w
p2w would implied i get items from the store and they will be powerful no mater what expansion i am in
