looks like some of them did go away, i didnt look to hard into it, just linked the 2 i saw right away. so thats something i guess, but they can still post, and thats not right.
i once got silenced in a thread about chicken wings where i made a sarcastic comment about how to eat chicken wings, and i got silenced and Blizz upheld it… but this guy just keeps posting.

Welp my “imagination” back in 2005 and well before that i was in Teamspeak with my clan! Switched to discord when i found it was free, and worked just as well as TS and Ventrilo, the ones i have used since the late 90’s!
The timings of their posts would suggest that they might have been given a couple of temp silences already.
Truth? There is no truth buddy. There’s just your word against someone else’s. And I suspect I know already which side Blizzard and the player base is going to believe.
they were posting pretty hard all thru the week up till the weekend. so they might have gotten a 24 hour silence, and there were posts yesterday that seemed to have his fingerprints on it, but i cant say for certain… but its a bad look either way.
also add in the pretending to be solicited for nudes as a minor… thats a terrible subject to use as a troll… add in that in that thread, with some vague hints at who it was, everyone was like “yeah we know who it is, they are well known for that…” also speaks volumes about Blizz, that if someone could be well known for hitting on underage players and still be allowed to play… i really do now have zero faith in this company.
my sub runs out in late september tho.

That thread got 404ed yeah? That was a mess. Like everyone seamed to be in support of the poster til someone found out via pet tracking they were using an alt to post on the forums and cause a stink.

yeah, everyone believed them and called out the same player as the culprit.
i think it was a pvp tracker, and then backed up by battle pets. but yeah it was a ish show for sure.

Yeah, was in poor taste and honestly, could very well cause people that are actually being harrassed / groomed like that to not even speak up.

We can’t forget when they compared not leaving a bad chat to SA either. That one was terrible too, nothing like staying to record an act and trying to say it is as bad as what actual victims went through.

Many guilds have websites. They will just put it there. It may have already been mentioned but Discordis only the latest technology. Not long ago the guild I was in was always logged into Vent and before that we used Teamspeak.
i believe this is somewhat true.
ppl are much less “chatty” since voice apps became more popular.
everquest was good for chatters. you could chat plenty while waiting at the camp for the monk or the bard to bring the mobs 
i dont think we can do much about it, gotta move with the times.
