sexism isn’t a problem. Especially not in overwatch or in the video games industry. Males get harassed equally as much online and just because these players word their toxicity as a gender-based insult that doesn’t they are sexist. It isn’t like every toxic player is super nice and chill towards any guy they meet. And I am saying this as a female. Just accept the fact that females aren’t oppresed and we’re equal in this modern society.
Edit: For those of you posting examples and all that. There is as many people being sexist as there are people expressing this behaviour towards males. Just accept it.

It’s not politics whats so ever. Males are being called sexiest on this site EVERY DAY. Without proof, just pure conjecture. While you might call it politics. But sexism isn’t politics. So, its getting old when guy gamer are being targeted all the time with zero proof.

And yes, there was political parts in the original post.
Well keep in mind, that ‘sexism’ isn’t just straight harassment but there’s also sexual harassment and people frequently inferring to female players they they’re only good at one hero, that being Mercy. A thread like this brings nothing good to the table and I think you may want to digest some literature on sexism.
There are many biases against female players. it’s not optimal to say ‘there is no sexism’ where there is a ton in our current society. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there.

That is political, it becomes political when this person says ‘in our current society’ that includes our current political landscape rather it be gloabal or in certain nations.

And assuming someone is, doesn’t mean its true either.
Elaborate? Assuming someone is sexist, doesn’t mean it’s true but it also doesn’t mean that person does not hold bias against a certain gender.

There isn’t, saying it to me again doesn’t make it anymore true. If you care to prove me wrong, link some threads that call men sexist. all from the same week. It should be easy if there are so many of them.
This is not the place to discuss the status of women in modern society, which is why I refused to talk about that part of her post. Instead, I reminded her that that particular part of her post is against the TOS.
Sure, it isn’t a problem in the video games industry. It’s not like when i say i’m interested in videogames to someone on the internet they don’t just immediately doubt me and start asking me a bunch of questions about video games so they know i’m not just “seeking attention” or anything
