You know, despite today marking a day where matchmaking is going to get really bad in Comp, and probably stay bad for the next month. At least this is good communication that it’s a top priority issue that will get fixed. Very good effort for community relations.

Is phone verification for merged accounts something that isn’t going to be tested at scale, until October 4th?

Since I could see some major hiccups going on with that. That could be pretty embarrassing.

Probably not going to happen.
But it could.
If the devs wanted to.

Since there’s no structural code changes to heroes, just “number changes” that require zero bugtesting.

They wouldn’t even need to restart the Live game servers. Thanks to a new hotfixing feature they put into the August 28th patch:
