What is my current trust level?

Go to this site (replace “yourid-1234” with your ID):

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/overwatch/u/yourid-1234.json

Then search for “trust” in that page. Most people will be in these two groups: trust_level_0 and trust_level_1.

What are all the trust levels?

You can find it by looking at the user groups of a Blizzard employee. Result:

  • trust_level_0: 45319 users
  • trust_level_1: 31375 users
  • trust_level_2: 102 users
  • trust_level_3: 102 users
  • trust_level_4: 101 users

As you can see, level 0 and level 1 seem to be granted by default can be granted easily. Now the real question becomes:

How to get to level 2?

As this new forum is based on Discourse, we can find the list of thresholds that admins can change from the documents of Discourse:

  • visiting at least x days, not sequentially
  • casting at least x likes
  • receiving at least x likes
  • replying to at least x different topics
  • entering at least x topics
  • reading at least x posts
  • spend a total of x minutes reading posts

I get the feeling this is relevant information for a wide majority of users who are wondering if they are trusted yet.

I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing and if it happens cool. I want it to feel/be organic, so I’ll just let it be.
