Monk slows, and then freezes

My monk seasonal character will slow and then freeze and cannot move. There is no way to get it going, just have to wait, but it is so bad I cannot play that character. I have 3 other characters that never have this problem, all non seasonal.

Stone Gauntlets provide a benefit (increased armour) and a penalty (the slowed movement and attack speed). The intention is that you’re expected to utilise other items or abilities to remove the penalty but keep the benefit. For example…

1. Equip or Cube the Ice Climber boots
2. Use an Invigorating Gem at Rank 25 or higher
3. Maintain 100% up-time on your class’s uber-ability, e.g. Wrath of the Berserker on a Barbarian, Akarat’s Champion on a Crusader, and so on.

We also see this issue reported so frequently in the Bug Report forum that it has included in the stickied Things That Are NOT Bugs thread…

18) Character Moving & Attacking Very Slowly
Please check what you are equipping and what each item does. Some items have negative effects. If your character is moving and attacking very slowly then you have the Stone Gauntlets equipped which when you get hit, will slow your move speed and attack speed but you gain armor stack.

Slow movement character while game normal speed

My game has been fine and then all of a sudden my character will start moving in super slow motion while everything around me stays normal speed. I have cleared up my xbox one, reset my router and checked all internet connections and did a speed test and running over 200mbs. I restarted xbox again and will go in a game and it will start fine and then go slow motion again which keeps killing my character before swinging sword fully 2 times

Frequently during play my character enters a state of extreme slow motion, at times to the point it barely moves and animates, while the movement and animation of everything else seems unaffected? This has never happened to me prior to Season 19. Is there a know cause and resolution for this?

attacking any sort of enemies, everything is going in slow motion! when i dont attack anything the game is running as normal! my internet connection is fine.

Bud, you need to stop being defensive and just acknowledge that not only is your sarcasm detector in serious need of repair, but your reaction to people asking for help needs work. Again, sometimes people just want to talk to other people on the forums about a problem. Just be better to people and try to assume the best intentions. Even if it’s been answered before, there’s no harm in answering it again and if for some reason you can’t handle it, just don’t reply. I’ve been here for ages and have never read that stickied thread. It’s an open public forum, it’s best not try to control it. Just take it as it comes, like life.
