Why do Blizzard REFUSE to do this?

Seriously, there are posts on Reddit from 7 YEARS AGO asking why toy cooldowns are so long, yet NO changes have been made on this? WHY? We want a valid excuse as to EXACTLY why Blizzard STILL have not changed any cooldowns on toys?

Why is there a 1 hour cooldown on TOYS?

So i just bought this Legion Pocket Portal from broken isles for 7500 nethershards. i knew it was completely useless and you couldnt even enter it and i was fine with that but then i found out it has a 1 HOUR COOLDOWN?? and it only lasts for 10 seconds. why would they put such a long cooldown on a useless toy? i wanted to continually cast it in goldshire or take a pic with my warlock in front of it.

I’m lost to the reason why there is such long cooldown on toys. Like I just bought the 10$ toy off the blizzard store and there is a 1hr cooldown on it. Seems a little ridiculous considering that it cost 10$, the buff last for 15mins. Like why doesn’t the cooldown match the buff so you can keep up your favorite little things that transform you. Can we get the Jar of Sunwarmed Sand's cooldown reduced?

Jar of Sunwarmed sand is a toy that makes the world appear as though its midday, regardless of the actual time. It lasts for two hours and has a 24 hour cooldown. Its great for players like me who mostly play during the night, but the long cooldown is really annoying. The night time equivalent, Shadescale, lasts two hours on a one hour cooldown. Change the Jar of Sunwarmed Sand to be in line with Shadescale.

Can We Get Cooldown Reduction/Removal from Prismatic Bubble?

I love this toy. It leaves an awesome rainbow trail behind us. The issue is that it has a 2 minute CD but only lasts 20 seconds. With Pride month only days away, I’d love to see a cooldown reduction (or perhaps just make its effect indefinite) on this toy as well as any other Pride-themed toys (I don’t know them all so I’m open to suggestions from others!) 2 Things.

1. Toy Spam causes lag and server instability when people pop them out en masse. Happens occasionally in capital cities when the other faction wants to be jerks. Everyone running around with perma toys out wouldn’t be AS bad as that, but it still wouldn’t contribute to stability.

2. Many toys are fairly obnoxious or immersion-breaking. It’s fine to let people have a fun toy, but limiting their use keeps the “standard” world in tact to some extent. One of those people literally wants to run around with a rainbow trail behind them 24/7. Let’s not do that, thanks.

I’m talking about appearance changing toys, not toys that place things down in the world, and you know that. As for rainbow trails or whatever other immersion breaking toys, sure. But that’s not what I’m talking about.

The stability excuse? I call bs. I’m not sorry. We’re talking about a multi-billion dollar company here, not an indie studio.

Other MMOs pull off much more in-depth systems without suffering so heavily from stability issues.
