Oh My!! My dachshund is named Waffles and I didn’t realize she was so into blizzard. I thought it was Keep the Toy away from me that she loved…she is really good at that.
The issue is when you take the time to read the patch notes. The changes to the classes are not really all that. Many of the changes when you crunch the numbers are actually worthless, if not making things worse for the class. I think one of the biggest issues was Licheborne for DK pvp. I mean that says it all.
i have a theory that every thing for the most part in bfa was just going to be a wow patch but someone in management decided they could crap out an expansion out of it insted and with no foresight it happened and we the fans are left in a horrible waiting game again
Actually its not the player base that is drowning WOW in a bathtub. The developers are doing that by not listening to the player base. Ion’s we know what you want, you dont know what you want comment proved that hands down!
Its still early in the expansion. It still has time to redeem itself. As of right now yeah its pretty bad. Log in for 30 min and done.
It’s too late now I suppose but when nobody said, “Please point out where I disputed it” Nobody was only addressing the insult given to him not debating whether or not she could censor the quote.
Really we don’t need any more threads complaining that Blizzard launched a bad expansion 3 and half months ago. Threads that critique last weeks hotfixes? Sure. Bring them on. Where are those?
They’re in the PTR forum. Go ahead and continue to ignore them there.
By the way, who is this “we” for whom you are speaking? You and Blizzard? People who post in the forum who are trying to make it appear that nothing unusual is happening and everything is the same as it has always been?
Whether beta was handled right or not is old news and not fixable. Initial disappointments about recent actions are new news. I don’t have a problem with those kinds of thread even though they are from unhappy customers.
If beta was mishandled (which it was), it is certainly NOT “old news”. You don’t get to reset the timer for responsible action to deal with known issues if they ignore the problems long enough.
They had more than a year to deal with these things and they did not.
As for the “You should get your wish as everyone’s sub lapses” comment, that a bit of melodrama. BfA is not going to kill wow. There are too many of us enjoying the game for that to happen.

My hope is that history will remember BFA as the ‘all’s well that ends well’ expansion. It’s going to take quite a bit for that to happen though.

You just have to keep stirring the pot don’t you. Your first post in the thread was disruptive, though you’d wither and die before recognizing any fault in yourself, and you’re still at it. Don’t you have anything better to do?
My biggest issue with the game today is scaling. I can live with the level scaling in the zones, but scaling Ilvl is WAFFLES. I’m at Ilvl 361, and it takes me just as long now to kill the same mob as it did when I was Ilvl 300. That sucks. What is the point of trying to gear up when you can’t tell the difference? Why keep playing?
Next on my list is flying (I know, I know). Having to wait until just before the end of the xpac to get it is WAFFLES. If they are going to do Pathfinder, it should be able to be completed when the xpac is released.
I’m sure they’ll have it running smoothly after it comes out of beta.
Again, her masking was entirely appropriate. Since you later said that you were not disputing her masking, this post is off topic trolling.
You misunderstood WHEN he was not disputing the masking. He was disputing it when he made his original comment. Later when he made the “one of those posters” comment he was not.
It is too late to unflag the post at this point but hopefully the moderators will understand the confusion. I doubt anything is going to come of it.
My biggest issue with the game today is scaling.
It’s one of the biggest issues I have too, and is a factor in how little I care about dungeons and raiding this expansion. What’s the point? Scaling is so screwed up, really, what’s the point.
I’m sure they’ll have it running smoothly after it comes out of beta.
We can only hope!
What is the point of trying to gear up when you can’t tell the difference? Why keep playing?
Because Ion thinks people only want to progress to try harder challenges. He thinks if content is not challenging you constantly, it’s no longer relevant. He literally doesn’t understand the basic, fundamental principles of RPG elements or the appeal of progression.
Its still early in the expansion. It still has time to redeem itself
Disagree. Significant class design changes and mechanics changes haven’t happened mid expansion in a long time. BFA is a dead stick…
Sometimes I get mired in spats and it feels good to see someone is understanding me. I don’t know if you’re that way too but I understand what you did and the distinction you are making.
I’m really inclined to agree with you.
He literally doesn’t understand the basic, fundamental principles of RPG elements or the appeal of progression.
^^ particularly this part.

I honestly thought you were saddened by the state of BfA and that you were being respectful. I was clearly giving you too much credit. You did a very good job hiding your anger while you had no one disagreeing with you but you just can’t seem to stop personally attacking people.
I wish you were acting more friendly instead of acting more and more hostile.

It’s not the devs that are actively discouraging new or returning players from even trying BfA. It’s not the devs who are repeating the mantra of WoW dying. It’s not the devs who are putting out whiney entitled videos full of doom and gloom and conspiracy theories. And it’s not the devs who are burying upcoming patches before they even go live.
Btw, Ion was right. Just read the Classic forums. You think you want it. But you really don’t.
revised requests for changes to improve classic and why
no changes! change it we wont play
classic but everyone can’t shut up about no changes
warriors need to be vanilla warriors not 1.12
why dire maul should not be at launch of classic wow
don’t play these classes period
So tell me again about how the community knows what it wants better than the guy who has access to the actual data about what players are actually doing in game?
Do you even listen to yourself? You are a flat out troll. You are a disruptive force here. You may have some of these other people fooled, but you are not fooling me. Be gone!
Btw, Ion was right. Just read the Classic forums. You think you want it. But you really don’t.
That wasn’t Ion…
It’s not the devs that are actively discouraging new or returning players from even trying BfA
Sounds a little tin-foily to me there bud.
It’s not the devs who are putting out whiney entitled videos
Whiney entitled videos? Who is doing this and in which specific video?
And it’s not the devs who are burying upcoming patches before they even go live
New content patches won’t fix class design. Show me legit, worthwhile class improvements and I’ll start logging in again.
