What is going on?

Then you’re lucky, because multiple posts on the forums all night would say otherwise.

Character already exists

My character couldn’t turn in callings, the quest info wouldn’t come up, so I tried to log out. Couldn’t do that or exit, so closed the WoW window. When I tried to log back in, it said “a character with that name already exists”. In the past, this would sometimes happen but would very quickly go away. As it currently stands, the character still can’t be logged onto. I can log onto another character and see that first one still standing there, but can’t log onto them.

Looting Issues

Killed a Named/Silver in Siren Isles and upon trying to loot the body became lagged out again…similar to my other 2 recent posts. Was able to do the quest to unlock flying but the fun stopped there.

The whole game appears to be bugged today. 1-21-2025

Game locking up in “Awaken the Machines”, looting, unable to cast, game just locks and then the character remains in the game.

Some kind of nasty bug going on

Getting DC’ed every time I leave a group. Either that or when the game tries to generate loot at the end of an instance or world boss. I’m stuck moving around with the game unresponsive and having to close wow manually. Then upon re-log I get an error that "A character with that name already exists. I’m guessing because of the way the game shut down it still think I’m logged in on that toon. after a while this stops happening and I can get back into the game only to get DC’ed again and repeat t…

And on and on.
