They should post in the launcher that there are issues, not just that they are doing maintenance. Two very different things. I see maintenance it doesn’t mean the game is mostly unplayable and every instance freezes.
They are a large company that is part of an even larger one, they can have a better stream of communication when there are problems to avoid at least some people being angry. They don’t even try to communicate well right now.
Well they have also had the bug for several months now where you cant even connect to battlent here and I saw a link to buy Kerrigan for Heartstone but couldn’t because the link is broken and will not work.
It’s not just TW bosses though – this was happening in raids, it was happening in M+ dungeons, it was happening on WQs, it was happening all over. You’re probably correct it has to do with collecting loot off a creature, but it’s not a TW specific issue. If it was specific to TW they would’ve turned off TW dungeons.
I havent had it happen in anything other than TW, I can do normal, heroic etc just fine. The SECOND I pick up loot from a TW boss is when it happens, no other time, including delves.
Then you’re lucky, because multiple posts on the forums all night would say otherwise.

They can only copy and paste things these days and probably didn’t have a response ready to paste, so are running around not knowing what to do.
Just did a dungeon, everybody disappeared, couldn’t loot, and then couldn’t even exit the game. Very suspicious.
Yea, I got put into a dungeon queue only for the instance to say it was full and I couldn’t join. Then it locked me out of doing dungeon queues because I didn’t go into the dungeon that was impossible to join. This happened twice on my alt Priest.
THEN, I turned in a quest on an alt and my entire game locked up, couldn’t cast, log off, nothing. Character was locked when I Alt-F4’d so couldn’t play on it. Pretty much it’s RNG if any given toon doing anything will get locked out of the server for at least 15 mins. It’s happening so frequently that it’s pretty much impossible to play the game.
I queued for Timewalking earlier and I joined a group that had an encounter in progress. After a minute or two I was able to get in and everyone was apparently surprised. There had been 4 other people before me that landed in the same group but were unable to enter the dungeon, boss or no boss in progress. I beat the odds. Somehow. Either way, it was weird. I had never heard of that happening before.
