Temporus Simia Negotium (IC Closed)

Izzabelle cocks her head to the side and holds onto Sericon as he carries her. She has no idea who this Orion person is? Perhaps the one that she saw just before she appeared in the retched forest. Who ever this Orion was, she wanted to hunt them, and hurt them for separating her from her bonded. “An Orb?” Izzabelle questions her voice so low it might not have been heard. There was something that she wasn’t remembering but she couldn’t recall for the life of her what it was.

Laughing she throws her arms around his shoulders and hugs him even tighter then before. Her spiders follow them keeping to the trees, attacking those that sought to bring harm to the bonded.

The Smell of death is one that she will always remember, although she cannot recall why. or how. Her skin crawls and her body trembles slightly in both fear and anticipation. She moves so that her back is to Sericon’s. If they were to be ambushed they stood the best chance fighting back to back.

Izzabelle cannot help but let out a “Whoop!” of joy when her Bonded’s vessel appears hovering in the air before them. Just in time to it would seem, for ahead of them in the forest these horrific creatures start to shamble out. What might of once been demons, and other fey creatures lurch towards them. Their bodies rotting, and decaying. The smell even from this distance enough to make you start to choke and gag. Atop their heads were these twisted mushroom like beings. Izzabelle notices that some of the demons and fey aren’t as decayed as the others, still they move as though possessed. Breaking through the trees these ungainly monstrosities shambled towards where Sericon and her stood.

Seeing her bonded pressing runes built into his gloves has Izzabelled swiftly recalling her spiders. Taking a deep breath in she sucks them from the forest, back into the safety of the nest within. For a brief moment her body becomes grotesquely distorted, before returning to normal. with a flash they are inside the vessel, and away from those horrid things. There’s a series of loud bangs as the disgusting creatures lift large boulders and throw them at the hovering vessel. Izzabelle stumbles as the ship jerks slightly after being struck by an exceptionally large rock.

Izzabelle nods her head at the mention of taking off quickly. “Damn what type of messed up place is this?” she asks herself, just as much as she was her bonded. Izzabelle sits on the edge of her seat for a brief second until Sericon mentions holding on tight. Laughing she throws her arms around him and hold on tight for a brief second. before dropping back into the co-pilots seat.

Once the engines were engaged, and the ship moved. Izzabelle felt and invisible barrier form around her, holding her comfortably into the seat that she occupied. Looking back she could see the colossal hound glaring at them. Along the ground she could see what looked like thousand of those rotting, shambling, possessed corpses. Looking she notices that the sky seems darker in a certain area. No! that darkness was moving, hundreds of felbats screeched and dove towards the vessel. Behind them Izzabelle could see a massive ball of energy forming in the great hounds mouth. She looks around the ship then to her bonded, “where’s the damn weapons system on this ship?” she blurts out.

“Indeed, the Master said it contained a object for our mission later, as to what it is, I did not ask.” Sericon replied his eyes watching her had she forgotten Orion now? This was getting a bit dangerous Sericon thought… Izzabelle wrapper her arms around him before they continued to challenge the forest, that was until Izzabelle reminded Sericon that perhaps flight would be easier.

Sericon gave a small smile at Izzabelle’s enthusiasm for his vessel, the horrific fungi zombies however were not something Sericon had seen before or wanted to deal with. Pressing a few runes the ship hummed to life laying a suppressive fire of fire into the jungle brush! The ships weapons flared to life cutting apart several fungal zombies, their hideous decaying bodies hitting the ground, but even with such force blasting them apart they still moved several quite alive… These creatures were as hard to kill as power scourge… More seemed to come through the trees, Sericon was in no mood to fight these creatures on their terms, this is when he grabbed Izzabelle’s hand.

Sericon gave a shocked look as his vessel shuddered from the assault of rocks, how could they hurt his ride? It mattered not he would blast this spot from the air… That was until he heard… The piercing roar…

“A place of true wild nightmares! Some mix of shadows and feral nature!” Sericon stated before they took to the skies! Izzabelle fell back into her seat at her very words.

The ship responded by materializing a combat station infront of her! This was the dark and powerful creation that void and fel could make of Naaru based technology! While Sericon could use two runes in the front to generate fel blasts at targets infront of them, it was to Izzabelle and her weapon system to kill any targets from the side or back! Sericon peeked backwards, the great leviathan beast was charging some great ball of energy, infront of the elves was a swarm of fel bats no doubt here to feed on the life now provided to them. Sericon scoffed, fel bats? They had faced a wall of flames in a much worse ship! Sericon tilted the controls causing the vessel to spin a signature move the elf used on Centralis. Activating the runes in front of his the elf creating a whirling blast of fel bolts that shot forward towards the fel bats.

Sericon flew right at the swarm his concentration and resolve unwavering, the continued blasts from the runes he activated slowly causing the bats to spread away from such a burning death. Sericon glanced back to the great guardian beast moments before it was ready to loose its great attack, before Sericon with a short laugh pulled the ship up and activated a short wave translucency device! The ship pitching upwards faded from view from the fel bats moments before the great beast below loosed it’s great attack! Sericon struggled to maneuver the vessel out of the way in time the blast mere centimeters from the back of the vessel! Behind them the blast cleaved through the fel bat swarm like a bullet through butter! Sericon saw his moment pulling a few levers the vessel seemed to stall out preforming a short loop, Sericon dove into the hole through the swarm made by the guardian hound beast! They were still mostly invisible and the majority of the swarm now focused on the guardian beast below, this however would change quickly if the swarm closed the hole off before they were through! Any bat that impacted against the ship would reveal it from its stealth!

Chaotic magic, the magic of demons… Aeseir’s gut twisted slightly, how had this happened? Were they corrupted by some unseen demonic forces? Would the exiled and elusive guardian come to kill them both before they could explain they had no idea what this was? Would the Kirin Tor itself listen to their pleas??

Aeseir was thinking the same thing as Jaseiah apparently, what would there mother think? With her recently recovering mind would she lash out and try to kill her own children even if they tried to tell her they knew not where this power came from? Had she felt this surge of power herself? How could they ask without telling her? Aeseir looked down his head filled with confusion and dark thoughts of death as the goblins led them back up to the room above…

The walk up the stairs felt like ages to Aeseir, before this he eagerly rushed towards combat a thrill in the fight. But now, had that thrill been the dark corruptions of fel twisting him to violence and evil? Could he trust himself not to turn into some legion pawn bent of bringing the people of Azeroth to their knees?

The tempo changed slightly as the doors to Zazzaa opened wide the goblin standing on his desk he was so filled with joy! “Spectacular! Amazing! What’s the word… Magnificent! Magnificent! Magnificent!!” Zazzaa called out his arms waving in the air! “If you to got that kinda crazy Kirin Tor magic you your sleeve you are always welcome if not outright encouraged to be apart of my great arena!!” Zazzaa called out, he still seemed to be jumping around.

Aeseir watched them small green creature… Goblins were so new, apparently they were not privy to the information that fel and chaos magic was a evil omen… This greedy creature only saw the power they used as a means to further entertain… It did certainly mean however Zazzaa would not rat them out to the Kirin Tor…

Zazzaa spoke up once more, “Your cut of the profits.” The leatherclad goblin said becoming alarmingly serious once again. Zazzaa dropped three large bags of gold infront of the elves… It was definitely enough for the elves to further purchase anything they might need but clearly not a large percentage of the true profits the elves had procured for Zazzaa today in defeating the hydra. Zazzaa locked eyes with Jaseiah who had bartered with him before the arena… “I will be working on our other arrangements… Goblins are fickle creatures, I am sure I can get you what minerals your looking for soon enough…” Zazzaa stated, to Aeseir it looked like he was talking about the Kajamite…

“Time has a way of eroding most memories…” Isaik replied his words seemingly floating on the air, even a being like him could hardly put together all the eons he spent in the nether…

Yumara might have been surprised to learn this feeling was not as foreign as one might think to the Master. His greatest powers came from his working connections into the minds of everything he could reach. From the flying ravens, to the swift fish of the seas. The wriggling worms and the elementals themselves… This is how the Eredar lord gained such great power, how he seemingly knew everything, his connections gave him knowledge and power…

This is where it began, like Zalak himself, Yumara was a ancient being… Eredar themselves were naturally long living creatures several of what those pitiful things called themselves… The Exiled Ones, Draenei had seen the fall of Argus… The legions operations in the nether only made the tracking of ones age even more complicated…

This is where the differences in the two truly began… Yumara’s visions of such a world and mysterious creatures, what it seemed to show… Zalak was born a Eredar and clawed his way to god-like power upon experiencing his great envy seeing the great lords of the void… Yumara was born to such power, a wild god but something more… She was a wild god of forests, of life connected…

Some great agony this wild goddess endured, she changed… Her experience forcing a change not unlike the changes in the races of Azeroth, except this was much darker… A wild goddess of life and forests turned to a wild goddess of vile growth and wild consumption… Her form still great in power more like the nature and wrathful sporemounds that Zalak hard gleaned from Draenor’s elementals… A being destined to grow, expand and consume until it could do nothing else but consume itself but on a planetary scale!

Something stood against her great path of destruction, like the great Grond of Draenor or Azeroth against the legion… Perhaps it was the legion itself that stood against her path? The legion had great weapons of unimaginable destruction, weapons that Azeroth were spared from because of what the planet was… The legion was not so kind to planets it deemed worthless…

A new form once again, whatever stood against her willed her very death! Changed it tried to make her more mortal… But Yumara was still to strong, she survived…

A world unlike others… Azeroth perhaps? Titan souls were rare and one such as Azeroth in power was unheard of… She hid within another to escape fate, much like Zalak his within Isaik to escape oblivion…

Isaik stood nearby his hand pressed together within his dark cloak… It appeared most of his assumptions were correct… The child perhaps was a interesting idea… Perhaps the child was Izzabelle or Jericha, the three shared a bond unlike others… “I watch in Orion’s place, your balance assured while I survive… Nothing to steal you away from me…” Isaik stated, his voice formless and seemingly everywhere… He was cunning, clever, and one of the most dangerous beings to face off against, to come and destroy what was his would be a true challenge…

Isaik nodded slowly, this is how he proffered things… Isaik did not need brainless peons… It was why he lacked a great demon army under his thrall… His minions were to be self sufficient, self learning and capable of making their own plans… Sericon had realized that Isaik had not forbidden anything to be used, he likely never would… It was up to Sericon and Izzabelle to forge forward and complete any quests received in their own ways.

A similar feeling that Isaik enjoyed, a lingering voice at the back of the mind, the shadow over ones shoulder… Isaik’s involvements were always meant to be subtle… The cults discovery by outside eyes forever saved by the overlooked shadow looming in the corner glaring with Malice… Isaik understood Yumara…

“Now we prepare… I have a feeling a ample reward for the bonded on their return… is the return of a familiar power… But much will be needed as sacrifice to further regain what was lost…” Isaik hissed slowly weaving his hands attuning the great citadel to the goal at hand…

Orion appears back in his space in a poof of smoke, in his ever present feline form, sitting atop his floating on his broom. Leaping from it he switches to his humanoid form, completely transforming before his feet hit the ground. One of the many Izzabelle’s was now healing and had returned to her Bonded. Of course with Oblivion there is always a price to pay. Now to fix this Izzabelle if even possible for me to do, with so little to work with. Orion thinks as he walks through a door that suddenly appears before him. Stepping into a room frozen in time, and space, he looks at the lone occupant of the room. She is in horrific shape even worse then when Salkeen had to give her up. Gliding across the room, he swiftly closes the space that is separating them.

Reaching down he places a hand over her brow, not quite touching it. Sighing as he scans what remains of her, what his magic might be able to salvage. Frowning he pulls his hand away, there was to much lost, the damage was beyond his abilities to repair. Her soul needed to be healed, it was damaged to the point where Jericha would need to do her job. If Orion himself had to drop from Salkeen and bring her here he would. After all at his full power he could Yumara right in her track. Yet on this place called Azeroth there were certain laws that needed to be mostly followed. Less you wish to draw the attention of something undesirable. Looking at the broken remains of Izzabelle he stands. For now she would be okay, locked in time he had a brief window before he would need to act.

As soon as he steps a door appears, and he is in a different area. He would need to go a speak with Ahcirej, he had returned to a future where Ahcirej had chosen to die, leading to the death of all the others. Going back he had watched and waited to see what might have caused the rift in her relationship with Aeseir, and Jaseiah. Now that he k ew he would need to fix it. However he would not be able to go as himself, he would need to wear the face of another. The face of an old friend that she would trust with her life. A friend who’s death had been greatly exaggerated.

Alaric Kent, stands outside the door of a building that looks like if should be condemned. How theses Goblins managed to find their homes amidst this chaos was both fascinating, and horrifying. Still they bustle past him like he isn’t even there, a simple notice me not spell, keeping him hidden from view as he reaches out and raps a few times on the heavy metal door with the backs of his knuckles.

Ahcirej sank down into the nearest chair. the Goblins had left about ten minutes earlier. Most of the stuff that she had gotten while out was still in the boxes. Half of it she didn’t even need. Still Anne Howe could probably sell water to a fish at a 1000% elevation in price, and convince it that it was getting a deal. Still she would need to get up and start moving soon. The death of one of her Kirin Tor contacts earlier, had left her feeling a bit uneasy. She was sure that wherever Aesier, and Jaseiah were that they were okay. Staying out of trouble? that she doubted. Jaseiah had a way of pulling her brother into dangerous situations. Although Ahcirej also knew that Aesier happily let himself be pulled into them. Still her Kirin Tor contact had been killed by some of the Goblins, that disliked having their kind here on their island. Sighing, she gazes back over at all the stuff. The new state of the art Goblin security system was now in place. Ahcirej was glad that she stuck to her guns on not getting the explosive package.

“Knock, knock, knock.”

The sudden rapping at the door, caused Ahcirej to let out a startled squeak, as she nearly fell out of the chair. She was uncertain who it would be, the kids wouldn’t be knocking. It was probably the Goblins from earlier, trying one last time to sell her on the explosive home security package…

Knock, knock, knock.

This time it was louder, and seemingly more urgent. Making her way across the room “Just wait a moment, I’m on my way, no need to beat the door down.” Throwing the door wide she is about to unleash on the poor fool, when instead she finds herself stumbling back a few steps into the dwelling. It had taken just a brief second for her mind to register who it was that was standing before her. She opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. The second time was also filled with silence. Stepping aside she quickly ushers him into the building, still unable to form any sort of coherent speech.

“As you can see Ahcirej, the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” The man spits out his voice heavy with both disgust, and scorn. “Not that they didn’t try their best to make it a reality.” Finally finding her voice after like the seventh time trying, Ahcirej manages to speak.

“Alaric?”
“Yes! and You’re Ahcirej, not that we have those pleasantries out of the way. I’ve come to speak with you on an urgent matter involving you, your two children, and your missing husband.”

Ahcirej had been told that her husband had died in the explosion that had claimed nearly all of her memories. “Alaric my husband is dead, there was a horrible accident…”

“No! they need you to believe there was a horrible accident…” he pauses for a moment the moves over and pulls the shades before casting a spell to make it so it would be impossible for them to be listened in on by any means. “You might want to sit down, what I’m about to tell you, could get you and your children killed if they find out.” Ahcirej sinks down into the same chair she had been occupying just a couple minutes earlier. “What’s going on Alaric? How is it that you have returned from the dead? What danger are you talking about? Is the Kirin Tor aware of this danger, and that you are still alive.” the questions stumble out of Ahcirej’s mouth, only stopping when she needed to take a breath.

Taking a deep breath Alaric starts his story. As he weaves his tale, he places memories into Ahcirej’s mind. Not as much her memories, but Jericha’s. As Ahcirej and Jericha at this time a technically the same person. Ahcirej would see those memories as though they were her own.

So Alaric’s tale begins…

“First l must ask you something Ahcirej, what do you remember of Aesier’s and Jaseiah’s father?” Alaric questions, his magic weaving spells even as he speaks so casually.

“I’m sorry Alaric, I don’t really remember him at all, I didn’t remember my children at first. The Grand Mages of the Kirin Tor said that he was killed in the explosion trying to shshshield me.” Ahcirej cannot help but get a little choked up. She might not remember him but still he loved her enough to sacrifice himself for her.

“Salkeen is not dead Ahcirej, not that the Kirin tor didn’t try and have him killed…”

An audible gasp leaves Ahcirej’s mouth when she hears the name, Images start to flood her mind. Like a dam that she didn’t know was there had been broken.

Ahcirej found herself once more floundering for her voice. She had been married to an extremely powerful Demon hunter. They had fought back a Demonic army and it’s insane lord together. He had loved her, they had been a family… “What Happened Alaric?” Ahcirej chokes out when she can finally speak.

“From what I’ve heard you, and Jaseiah, were on the run, when you were attacked. Salkeen, and Aesier arrived in time to save Jaseiah from them, but he sustained horrible injuries.” Alaric states, while watching the conflicting emotions race over Ahcirej’s face. “They had their mind healers erase all memories of Salkeen, Jaseiah, and Aesier, then sent you to this place, hoping the warring goblin cartels would do their job for them. What they hadn’t counted on was that your children would find you. Although you wouldn’t remember them, you would recognize them as yours.”

A slow simmering rage starts to burn inside of Ahcirej, as Alaric continues. “Why are you telling me this now Alaric?” Ahcirej hisses flames dances across her fingertips. “Because the spell cast to nullify your children’s demonic attributes is failing. Soon the Kirin Tor will feel this and come for them.” Alaric says is a dire voice, his eyes nearly piercing right through her. “What should I do Alaric?” Ahcirej asks her voice low as the fires on her fingers flicker and die. “For now play your part, there will come a time when you will be able to escape with the children…” “How will I…” “You will know, now I must be gone before they sense my presence…” “Wait your never said…” she never got to finish as Alaric vanished. Placing her head in her hands she sighs.

As soon as Izzabelle asks about the ships weapon system it materializes right before her. As it comes appears, high tech goggles start to form and wrap comfortable around her face. With them she can now see the plethora of felbats that were surrounding the sides and the back of the ship. Moving her hands to the panels before her she swiftly engages the weapons systems. Below the vessel a drops a large gun mounted on a turret allowing it to swivel. Along the sides of the advanced Void craft, dozens of felsteel plates slide down, revealing even more of the ships weapons. Izzabelles hands are moving swiftly and deftly as she powers up all the weapons. Once all the weapons systems are lit up, she rapidly drags her fingers down along them. Along both sides of the vessel felbets explode like fireworks during the summer festival. At the same time she was using the turret gun to blast the felbats that were attacking from, behind, above, and below. She looks at the screen before her the void pulse was almost fully charged. once fully charged Izzabelle hits the button unleashing waves of void energy, that completely eradicated all the felbats that were clinging to the vessel, along with all those within ten yards of it. With the brief respite of the attack she can see more clearly behind her.

“It seems that the natives aren’t all that happy to see us.” Izzabelle states with a slight laugh as she blasts through a few dozen more bats. “I swear they multiply everytime you kill one.” She watches as the massive mountianious beast readies it’s attack. “Just saying Dear that I would rather not be in the path of whatever power that thing is about to unleash.”

As Sericon activates the vessels stealth mode Izzabells stops firing the guns, she would now only engage the weapons if it proved necessary. She is suddenly thankful for the narru/void technological advances that this vessel possessed which aloud her to remain in her seat as the pitched upwards. Just in the nick of time it would seem, as the entire inside of the ship is lit up a nearly electric blue as the massive beem blasts past just inches from the vessel. It cleaves a massive hole through the ten of thousand of felbats. In the didstence she notes a rather large explosion.

But that quickly vanished from her mind as her bonded dives into the gap left behind by that leviathan’s attack. Now Izzabelles job was to keep the bats from revealing the ships location while Sericon navigated them through this living asteroid fields. Rapidly moving her hands she quickly blasts away any felbat that get to close to the ship. from the looks of it Thousands of the felbats are now swooping down to attack the titanic beast. There attacks are about as effective, as throwing matches on a fire elemental. The thing lets out a roar so loud that it even causes the vessel they are in to shake, before spitting out a massive forked lightning attack. Izzabelle watches as it rips through the felbats shredding them. Turning her head for a brief second Izzabelle looks out the front of the ship… “Sericon you know that saying, out of the frying-pan and into the fire?” She says her mouth dropping slightly as she sees what’s before them. There’s at least a two dozen legions vessels and three, make that two command ships. The third was not but a smoking ruin, that explains the earlier explosion. From the looks of it the command ships were getting ready to unleash their might, at the beast that had just attacked them. Sericon would need to fly with extra care now to avoid detection, they were not dealing with just a bunch of brainless felbats any longer.

Izzabelle drives one of her fel infused daggers through the chest of one trogg, while slicing off the jaw of another. Jumping back she vanishes into the shadows, and activates her Crimson Vial. She wasn’t suffering any major damage, still nicks, and cuts add up. She is about to attack again when an explosion quite literally rocks the area around them. She rollsoutof the way barely avoiding a large stalactite as it comes crashing down from the ceiling. It would seem one f those retched Troggs wasn’t as lucky. The jagged rocky point had struck its head and proceeded to split it in half. The man from earlier curses before opening a portal. “We are being summoned back.” With that he vanishes into the portal followed by those robed figures that has been following him. Izzabelle ponders following, but realizes it best to explore the cause of the explosion.

Reaching out she grabs Sericon’s arm and pulls him into the concealing shadows. She looks down towards where the explosion just came from, before gently pulling him in that direction. They’ve barely gone couple yards when a group of the wretched Troggs comes barreling down the stone corridor at them. They didn’t seem to be interested in anything other then getting the hell away. It was a pity that they poorly chose to pass them. Izzabelle saps the first one, before driving her dagger through the heart of the next. A third found itself with a large bloody smile decoration carved into its neck. A fourth lounges at her, it’s disgusting claws tears shallow gouges into her flesh as she rolls out of the way. Coming to her feet she summons forth to throwing knifes. With a flick of her wrists she sinks them into each of its eyes. As she watches it fall lifeless to the cold dirt floor, she sees Sericon finish the last of his. With those retched scum out of the way the two of them continue down the passage way.

It isn’t long before they find themselves in a massive underground chamber with many tunnels leading off in different direction. Turning to Sericon Izzabelle taps her chin in contemplation. “I would say the one with the smoke a dust billowing out of it is a safe bet.” Izzabelle states as they cross the cavernous room and slip into the passage, still hidden by Izzabelle’s cloak of concealment. Rounding a corner they see two more of those vile troggs backing away from the ledge they are standing on.

Izzabelle is about to follow through on that order, but turns to Sericon, and whispers “we should try and subdue these two. I would like to know why we were attacked back there.” Izzabelle says as she pulls out a long thin hollow metal tube. She then takes out a small leather satchel that in holding a series of darts. Each one is dripping with a visceral fluid. Carefully she loads the hollow metal tube. Bringing it to her mouth, she motions for Sericon to take care of the one on the right. The dart strikes the Trogg in the shoulder. It stumbles forward a few steps before pitching forward, and falling into the pit below. There’s a sickening crunch as lands shattering its arm, and shoulder. It would be in agony when it woke up, but very much alive. A second later Sericon and her Appear on the ledge, and see the full scale of the destruction for the first time.

The whole of the cavern the two bonded were in shook violently as some massive explosive detonated nearby! A few stalactites came crashing down one near Izzabelle who seemed to dodge and another near Sericon who responded with force rather than agility! The elf cast his hand out at the falling spear like rock fel energy lanced out into the impaling rock! Fel cracks spiderwebbed the whole thing before it reached a inch in front of him before it exploded in a shower of green light…

Sericon was merely getting started, the tunnel glowed with eerie green light before Sericon commanded it to his will! The fel raced across the rocky floor towards the offending portal, but it seemed luck was on their side the robed figures just nearly dodging a blast of fel… “Unfortunate…” Sericon said standing upright before Izzabelle pulled him into the shadows and towards the destination of the explosion…

Sericon watched with a smile as Izzabelle launched into action, he was ready as well. Sericon assumes his casting stance, his hands clawing dragging across the air… From his grasp he pulled forth bands of nether energy, for what was a warlock who couldn’t hand the nether? Before sending the chaotic and purple energy into the nearest trogg! The creature hardly had a moment to shriek before the purple energy rushed past it eroding its rocky skin down to the bones! The creature was quite literally sanded away by the great force of power! All that was left behind was spiked eroded bones! Sericon pulled forth his hand ready to summon a blast of fel for another trogg running towards them when to his surprise the great wyrm ridden by Pintee screamed past him snapping the filthy trogg up in its round and toothed jaws shredding the trogg apart in a squelch of blood!

“Indeed…” Sericon stated he glanced at Pintee still riding the wyrm and quite loud with the creature… With a glare and a look Sericon sent Pintee and his wyrm down a different tunnel then the elves…

As Izzabelle and Sericon went down the other tunnel they came upon two Troggs, the roaring commands of the watcher hung in the air… But Izzabelle has a different plan… “I agree, plus a little torture always makes one feel better after being attacked…” Sericon whispered, as Izzabelle moved into action, Sericon began to cast… Thrusting his hand towards the trogg he afflicted the pitiful creature with a great curse of exhaustion… All it’s will and energy would be drained… Before stabbing his blade into the dirt Sericon summoned fel chains locking onto the troggs arms and forcing it into the dirt… Sericon heard a audible snap, the creatures leg had been broken… Sericon shrugged, he hadn’t completely mastered fel chains in a delicate manner yet…

It appeared Izzabelle had gotten the weapon systems down, almost to Sericon it seemed like second nature. Izzabelle’s great skills used the weapons with great precision and deadly effectiveness on the fel bats warm around the great vessel. Despite the advanced and powerful nature of the device crafted by the Master’s will, it seemed the creatures among them were still a threat. A testimony to Yumara’s own latent power.

Sericon gave a wild smile, “They may be native, but if I recall we were walking upon this rock before the forests came!” Sericon had kept a close eye on the beast below that behemoth… “I don’t plan on ya being in the way!” Sericon leaned forward before he glanced back to the great guardian beast moments before it was ready to loose its great attack, before Sericon with a short laugh pulled the ship up and activated a short wave translucency device!

Sericon tilted his head at such a huge detonation in the distance, such force was either because the behemoth below had hit something, or its blast was even stronger than originally anticipated…

Sericon dove through the sizable hole in the fel bat swarm, Izzabelle firing off the vessels weapons to keep the creatures away when they saw it… two dozen legion vessels hung in the sky, one of three command vessel lay in ruins from the beasts great attack… Normally Sericon might let the behemoth and the armada clash with the bonded’s interference, but Sericon was cunning, he knew that the master has taken them out of the proper time… This armada was never meant to engage them here, but now that it had, it could not be allowed to escape and warn the rest of the legion of this world. “This is gonna get hectic…” Sericon said as the fel bats came down upon the behemoth swarming like bees might attack a beast… It hardly seemed to matter the claws and slashing of the fel bats could not break past the behemoths thick hide! The legion ships continued in a formation before three broke off ahead to engage the beast. A few others moved back away to begin the deployment of legion ground troops… Sericon turned to Izzabelle, there ship still in stealth, “This is the masters world, we shall not allow such a invasion!” Sericon said before diving at the nearest command vessel… He swung his vessel underneath in a rolling motion before engaging the forward guns and blasting a few holes on the vessels lower sections… “Deal as much damage as you can! These demon commanders will eventually figure out we are here and or stealth will be for nothing!” Sericon said his eyes on the prize ahead of him.

Amberlei comes up onto her good knee, gritting her teeth she pushes back the pain. She might be hurt but she will garuntee that none get past her while the Watcher takes care of the twisten trogg like behemoth. Spotting a group of three troggs rushing them she reaches for one of the many crude looking maces dropped from the numberous dead. the fingers of her good arm close around the wooden handle, letting out a battle roar, she sends it flying at the group. It strikes the one in the center with enough force that it explodes into a shower, of blood, bones, guts, and gore. Half the bodies of the two wretched troggs on either side are shredded by the explosion. Skalaz’s fire claims a group, just as Meremi’s golems tear into yet another. Arrows rain like a vicious storm from above, it would seem that some reinforcements had arrived.

Letting out another battle cry she brings her shield down creating a Barriar between Herself and Varicar, and the rest of the room. Her flesh is slick with blood and sweat, her stomach twists as she feels the heat of that massive creatures fetid breath washing over her, she turns just as the jewel shatters. She quickly goes to reposition her shield just incase. Yet as she moves the thing starts to crumble. It was like the magic holding it together and animating it was suddenly gone. She keeps to one knee her shield held up, or it was holding her up, until the last of it crumbled. Then she collapses her shield dropping to one side. The remaining troggs must have failed their morale check because they were rush to get out of that death chamber as fast as the could.

Amberlei was rather sure that none would be leaving this pit alive. Those that did will be quickly wishing that they didn’t.

Taking the vial she kicks back the contents, her face contorts as her body shakes. “for the love of fel, why does this stuff taste like the sweat from an ogre’s arm pit.” She bites down on one of the many blades to stop from screaming as her shoulder pops back into place. the bones in her shattered led start to twist back together. still they donot connect correctly leaving her with an noticible limp.

Amberlei watches as one of the two troggs trying to flee back down the tunnel, suddenly stumble backwards and falls off of the edge. A moment later the Blood Elf Girl that had been recently brought into the cult appears at the lip of the opening. She looks over to where she stood next to the Watcher. Amberlei moves her sheild into a Guardian like position. The last time she met this young elf she had attacked her. She watches as the elf suddenly pulls forth a dagger made of the darkest shadows, and sends it flying towards them she brings up her shield just as it flies over her shoulder and sinks into the neck of a brave trogg that had come up behind her. It falls over lifeless it’s axe still raised for the killing blow.

Izzabelle had just finished clearing the felbats from around the ship, and was recharging the weapons when they landed right in the middle of the fire. As the words leave her bondeds mouth she reaches to stop him. Her hand clutches only air as the shiprolls to one side. “Sericon not…” the sentence dies as he opens fire on the belly of one of the Command Vessels. “Oh Crap.” Being what she was, she would of remained in stealth until the beast and these demons were further into their battle. Let them do most of the work for us, then ambush from stealth while they are licking their wounds. Engaging to soon could turn both entities against them. Her left hand flies over the weapon control panel, fingers rapidly hitting bottons as each of the weapons reaches maximum charging capacity. With her right hand she maneuvers the large void cannon that appears atop their vessel. hidden within until it is engaged.

“I’m on it.” Izzabelle says as bolts of fel and void rip across the belly of the massive ship above them. Realizing that the vessel they were in has some form of artificial intellect Izzabelle quickly speaks out a command. “Scan for weak spots, weapons, shield generator and the antigravity device that is keeping it in the air.” Sericon and her would want to expose the weak spots it the vessels armor, so they could take out the shield generator. With the shield down they could take out the weapons. Blast the power suply and anti gravity device and send that baby crashing to the planet below. Izzabelle lines up the cannon as an internal map of the ship above them is sent to the visor she is wearing. Her minds eye flies down along corridors until she sees what she is searching for. The shield generator would require a precise shot. Luckily it would seem that the ships shield wasn’t fully functional. they were most likely not expecting an attack. Swiveling the fel cannon on it’s turret Izzabelle lines up the attack… wait, for it… her eyes flicker to the mountianous beast as it prepares another attack. wait for it. as the beast lets loose it massive energy attack Izzabelle fires. The energy boly strikes three lesser vessels turning them into confetti. The shot from the fel cannon rips through the Command vessels underbelly. Part of the ship explodes as the shield generator is taking out. With any luck they would blame the beast.

Without hesitation Izzabelle opens fire on the ships weapons, it would not be long before they were noticed. Below them the battle raged on between the colossal beast and the legion ships that were engaging it. The remaining command vessel turned it’s fire power towards the horrific beast. Charging up it’s primary weapon it fires, the sky is lit up an eeerie green as the blast shoots through the air, striking the colosul in the right foreflank. Unlike the smaller vessels the creature felt this, as a massive chunk of it’s body is blown away. Winged demons leap from the vessel and take to the skies, just as the beast spews forth a massive swarm of these twisted versions of an elf and a wasp. The combatants strike midair. The demons hacking away at the twisted dark fey creatures. The dark fey ripping into the with poisoned mandibles. Their stingers like massive spikes drive through them. another blast from the beast strikes the left side of the vessel that had just fired at it. The lesser demomic ships seeing that a weakness has been exposed in the colossal, all maneuver to strike at that one spot. The beast lets out a rour that shakes the ships in the air above as their combined efforts finally destroys one of it’s forelegs. In a rage it strikes out at the lesser ships obliterating another handful of them.

Izzabelle’s attention swiftly returns to their own battle as dozens of lesser demonic vessels start to fill the sky around them. “Well it seems that the natives want to play.” she says with a laugh as she opens fire.

Sericon heard a slight word of protest sheer second from his open firing on the vessel. It appeared the newer warrior mentality or years of casting spells had made Sericon a bit more open to direct combat… It was true waiting for the two groups of enemies to inflict terrible damage upon each other was a wise tactic, Sericon however had great trust in his ability and the advanced power of the ship he commanded. Swinging under the enemy vessel and firing Sericon had put several holes into the ship’s underside before Izzabelle engaged a larger auxiliary cannon under her control.

Sericon watched with great pride as his bonded struck out at the legion vessel shattering its shielding completely. The vessel groaned slightly in the green overcast skies as it adjusted for the damage it had taken… Sericon took the ship up aiming at the command vessels front cannon, they would destroy as much of the command ships offensive power as they could before they were detected!

The battle below grew more sickening and violent as the legion vessels focused their efforts on the behemoth causing a great wound into the beasts front leg! Seeing opportunities the legion launched their winged demons, doomguard, sayaad, Aranasi impacted midair with horrific fey abominations that appeared like a mix between wasp and elf.

Sericon sending a few blasts at the front of the legion vessel seemed to have awakened the legions wrath. Unable to detect them still with the command vessel the legion launched fighters to terminate whatever was causing such disruptions! Sericon laughed with Izzabelle, “They will soon learn this planet belongs to us now.” Sericon chirped smiling before he pulled their ship into a back flipped dive! The first shots from the fighters missed completely except from a single blast that revealed a hidden object had indeed been there. The invisibility wavered causing the brief image of their ship visible! Sericon did not care this vessel and his bonded And him were more than skilled enough to win a mid air dog fight! The elf dove under vessel once more before spinning and diving down even farther, he would lose his tails in the mass chaos below!

Varicar gave a small side grin at Amberlei’s disgust, “All that is good for the world has a nasty taste… It is the basis for which we works towards! A shining knight has no chance to right all the wrong in this cruel world.” Varicar said with leading conviction, he watched as Amberlei tensed up the blood elf Sericon had chosen to save appeared before them in the breach…

Varicar stood unmoved, he almost had wanted the elf to strike out at them, it would’ve proven his worries correct on admitting one so unvetted… Instead the elf sank her daggers into a opportunistic trogg behind them, despite her earlier aggression she chose to not run to a enemy who could easily have turned her ally and instead save Varicar’s second in arms…

Varicar noted the two Troggs the two elves had subdued… Perhaps this Izzabelle would make a irreplaceable addition to the group… Normally the high magus was not inclined to so much upfront combat, his secluded nature made him unpredictable in reliability in fighting.

Varicar listened to the sounds of combat around him, the cult was busy killing off the last of the routed stone apes in the most brutal of fashions… Striding forward he looked at Sericon up and down, a little dirty from the fighting but it seemed the new blood kept the high magus alive… “Great to see you and your new interest had survived the assault… I was worried to send a team to find out what happened to your study…” Varicar stated a small joking taunt and yet deep down he was glad the elves were unharmed…

The watcher turned his gaze upon Izzabelle, “You have my gratitude for saving our Magus… You fought with cunning, resolve, intelligence and loyalty… For that I see I can see you have a welcomed place in this organization… Consider that combat a initiation…” Varicar said, if it were not for Izzabelle who knows what would’ve happened to Sericon and the knowledge they needed to find the dark demon they longed for…

Varicar glanced back at Sericon, “I trust her well under your care, she trusts you most and it might prove unwise to separate you two…” Varicar spoke, though most initiatives were placed much lower in the cult and slowly made their way up, he would let Sericon personally take this new blood under his guidance… Varicar glared at one of the incapacitated troggs on the cave floor, before bringing his knee up and kicking the weakened creature… Those filthy mongrel creatures would learn to fear the cult in their blood… “As you captured the first trogg, you may be the first to interrogate it if you wish…” Varicar stated before looking at Izzabelle. The watcher took a step back to see what the new blood might do to her prisoner…

Izzabelle turns towards Sericon with a devilish smile gracing her face. “After we are through with these wretched scum will wish they had died.” Turning back she notices one of the Troggs coming up behind one of the elves that were trapped down in the pit below. Whipping out one of her daggers she sends it flying watching as it sinks into the attacking scum. Before turning back to Sericon she takes note of the limp that the female below is sporting. Izzabelle knows that her demonic healing can help, but she also knows not many can withstand the agony caused when the healing is done.

Izzabelle manages to catch the glorious sight of the Troggs leg snapping like a dried twig as the one she has recently bonded to, summons fel chains. As those burning fel chains tightened she could see the look of agony forming on that horrific things face even as it slumbered. The audible crack made when the bone snapped brought a pleased grin to her face. Moving to Sericon’s side she looks at him. “I am assuming that the Watcher and his dog we heard mentioned earlier is about the two down in the burning pit?” Izzabelle asks her head nodding towards the pit behind them. “The female seems to be hurt more then she is letting on, I can heal the leg if she will let me.” Izzabelle states before moving back to the edge, Sericon beside her. Stepping off the ledge they both slow fall into the pit landing near the trogg Izzabelle had incapacitated moments earlier. Sadly the wretched creature bound in fel chains seemed to of busted an arm in the fall. If it being twisted in the wrong direction was any indication.

Izzabelle is about to start walking towards the two Elves in the pit when she stops as it seems that one of them has decided to come and greet them. Izzabelle turns to the elf at the mention of Sericon’s study. “I can personally attest to the fact that three of the walls didn’t survive, there’s a massive hole in the floor, and there is no saving the bed.” Izzabelle says with a slight tone of respect.

Izzabelle bows respectfully to the elf, “Thank you, I cannot take all the credit however, Sericon was just as detrimental in keeping me alive.” She turns and looks at Sericon when she does she can feel an exchange of power traveling between their bond. It seemed like a fledgeling bond, yet in the same instance it seemed timeless and ancient. “I will always fight with all I have for those who except who and what I am.” She looks at the Elf, “not many are accepting of the half Elven, half demonic creation of a plagued demonic lord.

Izzabelle cannot help but tilt her head slightly a little confused as to why she would need to be under someone’s care. She didn’t even know how she had ended up there, not that she cared, because this was the place she was meant to be. Still the elf did speak the truth about one thing. “I agree that separating us might be unwise, and I do not say that as a threat. There is a bond between the two of us, and I’m not sure how that bond would react to us being separated at this point.” Izzabelle explains. “Also I would introduce myself but is seems that you know me, yet I have no recollection of having met any of you. I remember robbing some fat pig of a guard in Stromgarde getting something to drink at one of the bars heading back to my room, and waking up just as the two of us were thrown from the bed.” She says the slight confusion evident in her voice.

Izzabelle turns and grins like wintersveil and her birthday had all come at once. “Thank you, I would love to interrogate our wretched guest.” As Izzabelle approaches the unconscious trogg her demonic attributes become more pronounced. Her mouth becomes filled with sharp jagged fangs. Her finger twist into long razor sharp claws. Looking closely one would see tiny pin hole opening at the tip of each one. Those twisted claws sink into the slumbering Troggs flesh as easily as a hot knife sinks into butter. Izzabelle lets out a malicious laugh as she starts to pump the despicable creature full of a toxic poison that would soon have it… The pained shriek that comes out of that miserable creatures mouth causes a few rocks to drop from the ceiling. It’s limbs contort in ways that no limb should be able to bend into. It’s lower jaw dislocates as it continues it’s God’s awful wailing. Bones shattering as its body twists and flops about on the ground. After what seems like a lifetime the trogg becomes silent except for the pained gasps coming from its mouth. It’s arms and legs, have been elongated and twisted into knots.

Looking at the twisted wrecks of the pathetic creatures limbs Izzabelle let’s out a world weary sigh. “Well those are now useless.” As she speaks a blade made of the darkest shadow appears in her right hand. Speaking a few words in demonic she touches the blade watching as it erupts it fell flames. Without giving any warning she slices of the pitiful creatures twisted limbs. The flame from her blade cauterizing the wound preventing the creature from bleeding out. Then without a word with the same fiery fel blade she starts to shave away layers of flesh from the Troggs torso. The flesh curls up like dried paper, each slice of the blade more agonizing then the previous. The melodic screams falling from this nauseating creatures lips, was like the sweetest of musics to Izzabelle’s demonic side. By the time she was done scraping the flesh from its torso. Most of its internal organ could easily be seen beneath the thin layers of flesh that remained.

The creature was letting out the horrific sounding broken sobs. “Anything, I will tell you anything, just stop…” the thing shrieks out between screams of unrelenting agony. “You sick twisted witch ask your damn question, anything I will answer all of your questions… please… please… aaarghhhhh…” It scream echoes throughout the cavernous chamber as Izzabelle lean forward and bites its nose clean off of its faces. She then spits it onto the ground next to its face. The pathetic thing starts choking on its own blood. “Now, now we cannot be having that.” With another sigh she lifts what remains up off of the creature up off of the ground, with the ease of a giant lifting a baby. Walking towards a large jagged rock she slams the trogg down onto it. Listening with glee as it’s body is split open. The creature start convulsing vomit and Blood, pouring from its gaping mouth, a silent scream filling the air. “Why? Why you despicable witch, you didn’t ask anything…WHY? the last words comes out in a furious pain filled howl. Izzabelle slowly pushes the trogg down its organs slowly being ripped apart. “I’m sorry but there’s two of you, when only need one of you to answer our questions.” The smile on Izzabelle’s face would haunt the trogg even in death.

“As if there other way to deal with such filthy and disgusting creatures.” Sericon said with a dark grin, his attention on Izzabelle intently as she throw a blade at Amberlei’s position… Normally one might react to such a act but deep down Sericon could feel the elf was not her target. The knife whizzed past Amberlei into a trogg behind her, it seemed Izzabelle had let go her hurt and rage from the commanding elves… Interesting…

Sericon noted her aggressive and eagerness to the troggs torturous pain, her demonic side perhaps peaking out? “Indeed that is the watcher and his normal second in the militant operations of the cult…” Sericon said, had this split personality defense mechanism ensured that Izzabelle knew nothing of the things she learned before its activation? This women was truly becoming something quite unique and astounding to learn about… “It does not surprise me that Amberlei or The Watcher would act such a way, they could be bleeding out from the neck and still they would call for the cult to attack charging along side them.” Sericon shrugged, he hardly understood the extreme lengths the watcher went to ignore any show of weakness… To Sericon it was not weakness to execute a strategic retreat…

Sericon glanced over at the pitiful creature as it fell breaking even more of its vile body… It deserved nothing less other than total agony and subjugation… The elf took a deep breath his anger was still slightly higher due to his entire room being utterly destroyed…

Sericon looked down at the floor, “Fel only knows how much research is buried or even destroyed by those detestable creatures and traitors.” The last and only other time this had happened was because Skalaz had misfired a alchemic transmutation after a new recruit stepped into his transmutation circle with a keg of some kind of dwarven propellant!

Varicar himself only nodded despite being in combat mere moment earlier he kept a cool head in registering the damage the cult had received. Sericon could only wonder what the Watcher was planning…

Varicar glances at the two elves, perhaps he was thinking on how this new recruited female had finally got the High Magus out of his shell and made him more assertive… Sericon himself felt the same bond between him and Izzabelle expand and buzz with energy… Before he had perhaps thought it was solely because of her connection to the being that they seeked… But now it seemed she was just as connected to him, was this fate? Destiny?

Sericon spoke up this time, he knew Varicar would hardly disagree with his words. “This cult has no reason to not accept one such as yourself. We are the outcast, the seers and the reforged looking to right the wrongs in this world…” Sericon spoke, this was the reason they looked for their fallen demon god… He paused for a moment, “We are not fully of the legion… Their goals are more extreme… We follow one who worked within the legion yes, but sees a way to right the wrongs of this world. You are apart of that…” Sericon stated, he knew it to be true.

Sericon felt the bond as well, but his eyes fell nervously on the Watcher… How would Varicar react to such a thing, the two bonded elves had just met, even though to Sericon it felt like they had known each other for ages the implications might worry the Watcher. The two commanding elves locked eyes, Varicar was the usual de facto commander and definitely the military arm of the cult but Sericon was the expert in the darker sides of magic… Sericon was the High Magus, he was sure this bond was not a detriment to the cult or himself, Varicar would need to follow along… After all Sericon was the expert.

Varicar raised his eyebrow at the information even looking at Sericon once again… Sericon sighed silently, he knew the Watcher would have many questions… Sericon would tell him later, but for now it was still another confirming fact that the split personality had its own memories… It might prove interesting if the more defensive personality appeared later…

Sericon crossed his arms as he watched Izzabelle eagerly approach the trogg for torture… More demonic attributes appeared from her form as she fed on a torturous bloodlust… Izzabelle’s torture over the filthy vile trogg was beyond anything Sericon had ever seen… Starting with agonizing poisons the half elf twister the creatures arms and legs back before slowly carving the trogg with a fel dagger like a twisted butcher… It wasn’t until the trogg spoke that Sericon looked a bit surprised!

The speech patterns of this creature were far to smart for a normal trogg, perhaps they had been experimenting on the stone apes in the darkness below? So many questions, what else had been happening around them without them knowing…

Sericon had been lost to much in deep questions and thought when Izzabelle in her wild demonic filled blood lust went to far ending the interrogation early… As the life left the troggs eyes, Sericon spoke up, “That Trogg was much more capable of intellectual communications than normal…” Sericon spoke aloud looking at Varicar… Sericon strode over kicking the other incapacitated trogg before kicking it hard! “Bad tall things! Me break free! Hurt you!!” It cried out in rage filled pain… Sericon sighed, the other prisoner was… Izzabelle spoke up, “Don’t tell me I just killed the smart one.“ Sericon looked over, “It seems to be so, this one is as smart as the rocks it eats…” The elf said moving towards Izzabelle, “How good are you at charades?” Sericon said looking back at the stupid moronic trogg.

Miya relaxes down into the tub floating in the center of her cabin, completely unfazed by the storms fury. Sinking down beneath the bubbles into the warmth of the water, her mind replays the days events. They would need to pick up a few crew members when they reached Freehold. That would be an easy task the promise of a few gold coins would have a bunch flocking to the Quell. She shivers and scrubs at her flesh as she recalls that pig of a guard captain touching her with his disgusting fat greasy hands. Miya has to physically stop herself from scrubbing the flesh off of her body. A body that is scarred beyond recognition. She had been tortured relentlessly at the hands of pirate hunters. The flesh flayed, burnt, hacked from her torso upper arms and legs so many times that they were nothing but layers upon layers of scar tissue. Diseases caused by the filth they would submit her to left large poc marks and craters in the scarred leathery flesh. Looking at her ruined flesh one last time she steps out of the tub.

Her feet never touching the floor she swiftly dons clean gear and exits her cabin. With a few arcane words she has a shield up around her protecting her from the fury of the elements. She sees both Nihsa, and the Captain as she glides unfettered across the deck of the ship. She uses her magic to haul some of the unlucky crew members back aboard the vessel as the seas tries to claim them amid the storms fury. She moves so that she is standing next to Corttez “I believe that the sea might be wanting a sacrifice” Miya states she then turns her head towards the brigg, where a few dozen prisoners are now chained and caged. Nihsa who is standing close by let’s out a hardy laugh, “de sea alway be demanding sacrifices of dem dat ride her waves.” She replies as she continues to commune with the elements. “Who are we to deny her demands?” Miya says with a cruel laugh before turning to head towards where the prisoners were being held. They had nearly lost Valanae earlier, she wasn’t feeling all that charitable at the moment. As she moves towards the door leading down to the hold she motions for a few crew members to follow her. It was time to choose the sacrificial lambs.

Izzabelle eyes widen slightly as she watches the demonic forces clash with the twisted dark fey. The way they tore into each other was brutal and grotesque. Yet it was almost mesmerizing to see. The way they collided mid air weapons and claws shredding flesh and muscle. Wings being hacked from their backs. The shrieks of rage, the howls of agony, the bellows of ecstasy as they sent their foes crashing down onto the cursed earth below. Still as Izzabelle watched she had this sense that she had fought in a war against demon’s before. It was strange, when in the midst of battle things that she was sure she didn’t know, would fill her mind. As she watched one of the Aranasi hack the wings off of one of those twisted humanoid like wasps. Izzabelle felt a thrumming pulsate throughout her body. Another of those twisted fey latched onto the Aranasi’s back. The fey creature lets out a shriek as it trusts its stinger through the demons back. The Aranasi lets up a silent scream as it’s innards burst out of its chest cavity before the husk falls lifeless from the sky

Izzabelle’s mind is swiftly drawn back into the fight as Sericon back flips the vessel into a vertical dive. The visor she is wearing tells her that the weapons are once more fully powered. Running her fingers down the columns of buttons, she unleashes another round of fel and void devastation. Blasts of fel rip through aranasi, felbats, doomguards, twisted fey etc. burning away limbs, wings, causing them to fall from the sky like some horrific storm of corpses.

As their vessels artillery fire tears through living flesh and the iron and steel of the demonic ships. A lucky shot from a vessel quickly exposes them to both twisted fey, and demons alike. A group gives chase diving into the fray to pursue them. Izzabelle laughs as she pivots the void cannon and fires. A large beam of fel bursts forth and lights up an area of the sky as it rips across it. This vessel of her bonded had the blue prints of all demonic vessels. Izzabelle could see their weak and vulnerable areas where there power sources were located. As the beam of fel hit the vessel it strikes the power core and the ship explodes. Razor sharp pieces of shrapnel shred all the creatures around it. More demons, and twisted fey are destroyed as Izzabelle sends another pulse of void energy crashing over their vessel like a wave.

As they vanish into the chaos below Izzabelle turns to Sericon and smiles. “With the shields down do you think you can hide this baby somewhere close by and teleport us onto the vessel.” Izzabelle queries as she unleashes another round of fel into the madness. “The anti gravity device will most like need to be approached from within and taken out manually.” She finishes certain that their ship has the power to teleport them both onto the command vessel.

The chaos was beyond words the planets sky had become a battleground of disorder and life clashing and trying to wrest control from the other! Sericon dove once more as they were shot at, he flew the void like ship erratically to further confuse those pursuing them! This was not some winged beast or legion vessel it was more than capable of performing maneuvers the legions fighters could not. It seemed as the battle raged on the legion committed more forces to the assault ready to conquer, but below the forest was very much alive and growing more feral as the fight raged on!

“No problem at all!” Sericon with a smile he spun the ship up in front of the nose of the nearest legion battleship before pressing several runes in the ship! In a instant the two elves were teleported to the nearest internal and unoccupied section of the legion vessel before Sericon’s own vessel continued forward no driver aboard! The vessel tried to reinstate it invisibility before going into a dive into the dark fey forests below! The vessel banked before smashing into the ground looping up and dove into a great yawning cavern! One of many great ways into the underground world that existed below the great forest!

Landing aboard the legion vessel Sericon took forth his blade and readied himself for defenders… He saw none at the moment but hardly let down his guard. He glanced to see if Izzabelle was alright before hearing a loud succession of thumps… Screeching things outside could be heard from outside the vessel, what followed next was the twisting of metal and clawing of armor… The dark creatures of the behemoth were boarding the legion vessel, it was just another thing the bonded would need to be wary of!

Sericon turned quick as a clawed hand rended the outter walls of the vessel behind them! A screeching elf like creature hissed from outside clawing again calling to others around it! Sericon lunged forward stabbing at the beast trying to claw inside, behind the creature Sericon could spy the great citadel like structure, it was glowing with a great light! Was the citadel about to react to the battle?? With that thought a great droning pulse exploded out from the citadel racing across the sky! When it struck the vessel Sericon fell backwards hard to the vessel floor, his sword falling from his hands! The creature itself seemed infuriated by the attack rending its way in more! Sericon thrust forwards his hands defensively to guard his face and to his surprise a arc of fel flames left his finger tips! The hideous elf wasp creature hissed in agony before the citadel behind it seemed to drone intaking purple light… Sericon glanced at his hands he had been cursed by Ebony to never command magic by his own volition again to be forever touched by the void. The citadel drew in more purple energy, the legion vessels took notice… The citadel had been crafted into a great soul engine that was readily consuming the souls of the fallen! A second blinding pulse filled the skies, washing over the land! As it crashed over Sericon again he felt even more fel flames and magic respond to his call… This time as well the creatures of the forest seemed to be filled with a energetic frenzy the citadel nourished and empowered those under the Master’s influence! Sericon glanced over to Izzabelle, magic dancing between his fingers… Had the Master created some part of that citadel to cure this curse? “I’m not crazy right? This is my magic?” Sericon asked completely dumbfounded.

“Aye that she be, but there hasn’t been a storm I couldn’t sail through!” Corttez quipped back, his hands on the wheel turning the vessel into and through a crashing wave!

Corttez turned to Miya he could easily tell her bloodlust and feelings of vengeance were running high, the poor underlings of that pig like guard captain.

Corttez directed the ship through another torrent of crashing tides the ship shuddering violently as the great force of the waves battered her barnacled haul! The captain would not halt the two ladies from having their enjoyments in this storm, if anything tossing the more injured prisoners was sure to uplift the rest of the crew… That and Corttez gave a dark grin peaking through his rough red beard, any lucky surviving prisoners would spread word far and wide of the most ruthless pirate crew in the Great Sea… “Aye toss any you wish overboard, but save that one for me!” Corttez called out pointing his finger at a Stromgarde ranger, Corttez had a special surprise for him… “The most fit prisoners that don’t be getting thrown overboard to the sea will be fetching a mighty gold price at Freeport…” Corttez roared, the vessel shuddered as lightning struck nearby!

Corttez wouldn’t wait, the captain let the wheel of the ship go, the thing span wildly as Corttez moved the cage and pulled it open the lock with his hands, the sea had made this giant of a man quite strong… Grabbing the ranger, the captain would lead this boat tossing… However there be a catch… “You lad were quite unlucky… Instead of being tossed to the sea to face her mercy… Ya being keelhauled…” Corttez barked looping a rope around the man’s leg before tossing him off the bow of the boat… Corttez grinned stepping away from the bow and across the boat to the wheel, it appeared several crew member had been trying to wrest control from the sea, Atleast four men held the wheel fighting the torrents and wakes! Corttez laughed shooing them away before taking the wheel once more… A quick glance back revealing why he wished to go first… A wake of blood now followed the vessel… The ranger tied to the ship unable to be freed, was battered against the underside of the haul! The razor sharp barnacles shredding the man’s flesh as he struggled for air under the crashing tides! If only they could hear his cries as seawater licked as it bleeding mangled flesh attracting all manner of bloodthirsty sea beasts…
