I’ve heard of the removal of master loot i had joined in BFA and for me it never existed so i never felt any different.
But i guess for a big company like blizzard they shouldnt have the need to take short cuts.
And with the new takeover im hoping for positive changes hence im out here posting for someone who has any power to do something to see and hoping many players(not everyone) like me who are in a similar boat can post their thoughts on this.
my main reason for making this post was for the unrealistic rate of appearance of the Mount on the BMAH because its still said to be “obtainable” via that.
currently i am very disheartened as i’ve worked really hard to collect the gold to bid on the mount (which im sure many people did back then as well) but currently just waiting on a random number generator to call for my number.
Im trying my best posting wherever its relevant sending bug reports tweeting trying to speak with GMs if this all fails im just one person i might end up sadly quiting the game i like cause my goals in the game are not realistically possible.
Blizzard has never admitted it was removed from the BMAH pool, but clearly it has, intentional or otherwise. The fact that this hasn’t been fixed suggests it was intentional.
If this is true the least they can do is give the player base some information about it im here camping the BMAH everyday and checking the TSM premium BMAH listings to see if it has appeared anywhere to keep my hopes up.
It’s shown up once on a single realm in the entire world since July 14th after the “add to the crate” hotfix. We went from a Bruto approximately every two weeks in the NA region to having to bank on a 1/1000 shot of getting it from a degenerate gambling loot box that goes for hundreds of K every day.
The “we added this to the crate” hotfix was framed in a way to make it look like a good thing, when in reality they nerfed the living hell out of the chance to get it.
I always thought that was weird, even though people were saying it back before it had been removed. I knew it would go to gold cap.
Someone who often posts about their wealth started a thread not long ago saying it should go on the WoD timewalking vendor for gold cap. I thought it would be reasonable for it to be listed for the timewalking badge equivalent of 5m gold. Obviously we did not have a meeting of the minds.
Yes, I saw the mount showing up on EU Hyjal last month after a hiatus of over 6 months and hasn’t shown up anywhere ever since.
So for it to show up on US realms it could take another 2-6 months and then for it to appear on my realm maybe another couple of years its just impossible for anyone who wants it to even get a chance to bid on it ever!
I do not have it, had no interest in grinding out gold/spending real life money to get it, did not even own BfA at the time it was live to have the ability to get it and, in fact, if it was gifted to me, would never use it. Yes, it is a cool looking mount but it is so oversized that can’t even be appreciated most of the time.
(Personally, I would like to see a much smaller version for my viewing pleasure. I might even stop complaining about them blocking the mailboxes.)
No.
Goals/objective is the why as in the endpoint.
Content is the how as in the activities to reach the goal/objective
Rewards are the what as in the prize/s for reaching the goal/objective (can be anything from a sense of satisfaction to a virtual mount).
For instance, I want a Masked Tanuki pet for my gnome rogue so:
Gaining a Masked Tanuki is my goal/objective.
Pet battles is the content/activity I am doing to achieve that goal/objective.
The joy I get from watching my Gnome Rogue with her new pet (named Robby because she lacks imagination) as they wander the World together adventuring will be my reward for achieving that goal/objective.
Cosmetics are content to collectors. You’re quite clearly not a collector so I understand why you’re confused, although we don’t need to derail the thread with that.
Back to the issue at hand - removal of content (including cosmetics) sucks and this is one instance where Blizzard can and must fix their bad choices.
I apologize on behalf on humanbeak him and many other players like him including myself are just a little bit frustrated and absolutely mean nothing malicious by it.
We just want our thoughts to be read by the relevant individuals.
And i thank you for your stance on this subject it means alot to me and im sure humanbeak agrees with you.
Maybe to bring back the mount might be unreasonable according to them as they explained it in this post.
But at least fix the current problem of its extremely rare appearance on the BMAH.
It was said to be added to the rotation of the extremely rare mounts like the mimiron’s head within the BMAH.
And I’ve seen the Mimiron’s head show up every 2-3 weeks on some server in the US/EU regions BMAH which still makes it realistic to get.
But the Bruto mount currently is showing up once every 6-7+ months (7+ months on US realms still unseen, 6+ months on the EU realm as it showed up last month on the EU realm of hyjal) and there is no guarantee it will show up on your realm.
So with the current Numbers it will take a few years to a decade for you to get a chance to maybe bid once on your realm and if your too slow on that the Big bois like the BMAH service providers will cap it before you ( I have talked a little bit about the BMAH service providers on this other post -"Blizzards 30 MILLION Gold AH Mount | The BIG Mistake" - Studen Albatroz).
The Mount was showing up once every 2-3 weeks before they added it to the BMAH unclaimed container after which it completely bugged out I don’t know but I’m merely speculating that while adding the mount to the container some line of code got deleted purely by mistake and has yet to be fixed.
If someone from the Devs notices this then hopefully we can get our fix soon.
I also hope that more members from the Community Council can take notice of this and help push the agenda.
