I was bored to death by the life story, then I was revived by a co-worker. Then I crawled to my desk and posted my experience. Now I’m dying of boredom explaining it all. For my health, I must move on.
This idea is also a good one but as blizzard posted they dont want to bring another AH mount back into the game. Because according to them no one will visit cities like stormwind/orgrimmar if AH is available is more accessible.
To which i argue why is the AH the only reason making us go back to stormwind/orgrimmar and other such older main cities why cant there be better ideas or reason for us to visit.
That’s fine friend hope you can find something that is more entertaining, also i wish you good health.
Please by all means anything related to the post is very much welcomed.
You are very nice but man, you can suck the life out of a story.
Tbh i wish i was a better author.
If i had the talent to keep people’s attention, i would’ve probably written a book on the brutosaur by now

You did my friend… you did.

I mean nobody really goes to those cities anyway. There is no reason to unless you just like to hang out there. Everyone always is in the new city hub introduced in expansions. It’s mostly bank alts in those cities now lol.
I agree completely its mostly a hangout spot or place for bank alts.
But that was their main reasoning for removing it.
I don’t buy their “AH should stay in capital cities” excuse and think they simply used that as a cashgrab scapegoat.
Unless they were flat-out were saying they didn’t learn a single thing from Garrison Auction Houses.
I too agree the reasoning is very vague and almost sounds like a very bad excuse for something.
Its just sad that we are in a situation like this because of such a silly reasoning.
Silly reasoning and a massive nerf to the already rare appearance it made on the BMAH.
Yea its unbelievable how low the drop rates are atm.
One mount to one player out of the entire player base including US and EU every 6-7 months.
Because according to them no one will visit cities like stormwind/orgrimmar if AH is available is more accessible.
Which is BS answer now…my bank alt is parked in Iron Forge and uses my Long Boi for my AH works…I still go to main cities with my other toons when I need too…they pushed to remove the Long Boi cause they wanted to beef up sales of Tokens…they figured many of the player base was close but needed a push to get the gold fast and what better way then say they are removing mount to push hard for more token sales.
I don’t buy their “AH should stay in capital cities” excuse and think they simply used that as a cashgrab scapegoat.
Bingo Humanbeak…it was a poly to push up numbers on token sales to those players that were close but still need a bit more gold plain and simple.
One mount to one player out of the entire player base including US and EU every 6-7 months.
And really the only players that can afford to drop 10 Million gold are the very older players that have been in game a dang long time like from Vanilla/TBC time frame…the new player base has no damn chance of getting 10 Million gold unless they get really good at selling runs but that is effy at best…so that only leaves buy damn tokens to beef up their gold faster.
I like the idea of putting it on a TW vendor. I’d rather see people buy it with currency that you are required to actually play the game to acquire instead of botting at an AH all day messing with the economy.
The more i look into why it was removed, the more what you and other having been saying is making sense.
I assumed that the token sales theory was a by product of it but not their direct intention.
Also
my bank alt is parked in Iron Forge and uses my Long Boi for my AH works
Many other players who own a long boi also chill in stormwind/orgrimmar, there is usually a long boi parked in oribos but still people who chill in Stormwind/orgimmar for whatever reason end up there, which is the opposite to what they said would happen.
which is the opposite to what they said would happen.
Which proves their take on saying players wouldn’t go to major cities a dang lie now…it seems blizzard is way out of touch with their major player base by a long shot…
They should take it off the BMAH and just restore it to the original vendors you could buy it from. This mount should never have been made rare in the first place and maybe even at all considering what it does provide a player. All this does is continue to divide the player base and upset way more people than not. I don’t think a single person who got this mount even cares if anyone else gets it or not either. Digital scarcity needs to disappear forever.
Restore the mount to the vendors, they seem to be wanting to cater to the player’s wants? How about we fix this and then tune the Mage Tower while we’re at it.
I don’t think a single person who got this mount even cares if anyone else gets it or not either.
I do care others won’t have a chance at this mount due Blizzard removing it…as I have stated from start it should of never been removed from the NPC and put too the BMAH…the BMAH is only good for the high rich players of the game anyway.
I agree with you completely most casual solo players will never even get a chance to bid on this item.
I really hope as blizzard Improves this situation by either bringing it back or making it more accessible by others.
