Its really nice to read your thoughts on this subject and i hope more like minded players can speak up about this subject so that someone from the blizzard team can have a peak as to what is happening
I have said it before and I will say it again removing any content is bad for the game.
and
The kicker is that Blizzard has several ways they can re-add this mount to vendors without âgoing back on their promisesâ or whatever drivel the pro-FOMO crowd spews, especially considering the mount is technically on the BMAH (even though itâs next to impossible to get). Two easy ways that I will say over and over again like a broken record:
-
Put it back on the original vendor for >5m gold (I stand by gold-cap to emphasize the status that was built up around the mount and for the FOMO reasons explained earlier)
-
Put it on the BFA Timewalking vendor (when that comes around) for >5m gold (similar to option one, but on a more âlimited-timeâ basis, although for some reason people have a hard time dealing with anything going on a TW vendor that isnât bought with badges)
Either way, this isnât hard and is an easy W.
Yeah, I agree. Does Blizzard really keep their promises?
Anyway, I have the mount and I am fine if everyone else in the game could purchase it for the same price I did.

The current method of getting the mount are insane and even the people this youtuber is mentioning in his video, these multi realm service providers who are selling the mount for 30m are unable to provide the mount right now
Yup, boosting communities shut down the Bruto âboostingâ July of last year when the Bruto was âadded to the cratesâ and has been seen worldwide ONE TIME on ONE REALM since then.
firstly getting 30 million gold is absolutely insane and id say no new or casual player or even semi hardcore players will have the time or patience to get that kind of gold a very small player base maybe around 2-3% will actually have that kind of gold or more.
And the mount showing up once in more than half a year now is just bonkers that means i and player such as myself waiting to bid on this item will probably be able to bid on it once in a couple of years.
Yeah, itâs a terrible mess they created by making the mount ultra-ultra-ultra rare in the rotation. We also have no idea what the chance of getting it in the crates is. If I had to guess itâs something like 1/1000, and those crates generally go 300-500k+.
Blizzard made an stupidly toxic and degenerate decision and they need to undo this moronic decision in some way.
I made a twitter account on your recommendation to tweet at the devs but considering i have never used twitter i dont know if they will even see my post.
I had Opened two tickets regarding this and of course the GMs cannot do much about this situation but one of the GMs mentioned they had entered a internal report on the situation now i dont know how effective that will be i really hope the they can look into this a little bit more cause i personally love the game and do not wish for it to leave a sour taste in my gaming life.
Iâm curious as to what this means. Perhaps they simply submitted an in-game suggestion on your behalf, but that wouldnât be the best thing in the world (at all), unless they meant that the issue is actively being reassessed by Blizz (but then how would a frontline CS agent know that?)
We also have the Community Council, but so far I donât think any of the members have taken an interest in making a topic that specifically targets the Bruto.
Is there any way to get in touch with a council member?
This is hard to answer.
I donât know of any official way to reaching out to anyone on the CC. Typically you hope and pray someone reads your thread and responds. It may be worthwhile to ask on the Customer Support forum if thereâs an official way to contact the CC, although I suspect the likely answer is ânoâ. I donât know for certain though and may be worth an ask.
Some people (myself included) have in the past put something in the thread title such as âCommunity Council, Please Read: [subject here]â, but that again relies on prayer that they see the thread, and even bother responding at all. I will say that the more eloquent the thread, the more likelihood of being taken seriously.
Sorry you have been disappointed by being unable to get something you want but the reality is there are lots of other mounts and lots of auctions houses and, frankly, the last thing the game needs is more mounts blocking mailboxes so this does not break my heart.
I agree removing content is bad for the game.
But Reins of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur is not content, it was/is an objective/goal/reward.
Thank you for stating your opinion on the matter.
Im assuming you are one of the people who got the mount and went through some struggles to get it i could be wrong.
All the content that you do in the game is in some way a Goal or an objective a player creates for themselves and for reaching their goals or objective they are rewarded with somethin and as u started the Mount was a objective/goal it has to be content or else no one wouldve bothered to buy it. In a somewhat similar way m+ and raiding is content of the game why would anyone bother to do it if it wasnât.
Of course, it is content.
i donât want to blame blizzard and say anything such as âwhyâd u ever remove this from the gameâ cause i donât understand the logistics that goes behind their decision making but i would like to point out that if this mount is indeed suppose to show up on the BMAH why isnât it.
I mean, itâs a fair question. It was a dumb decision and they were the dummies responsible for it. Thereâs no story reason to it. Thereâs no valid economic reason to it. There was no precedent for it among the previous gold sink mounts. It was just a garbage decision made to prey on players afraid of missing out.
i completely agree that playing on the FOMO emotion of the player base is a horrible thing to do and it takes away the fun from a game that most player play to enjoy and to chill and having to stress about something like this in that game makes it quite toxic sadly.
They took it away so that they could lessen impact of everyone and their grandma in 2 expansions time from spamming the AH with calls everytime they wanted to check.
No different than the removal of master loot to fire GMs and CS with loot disputes.
Or the throttling of api to populate metadata sites like wowranks.
Itâs cost minimization.
So they made a problem they then had to fix, and burn a fair chunk of player good will in the process, when it would have been cheaper in the long run to just not make a mount with AH access in the first place.
