Oh My!! I hear that only cows can play Tauren!!
All my characters are female and I’m a male in irl. Female Character has a way better look for them when it comes to outfits and Customization. Back when i first played wow in 07 up until recent time, that males customization where lacking. They where ugly as hell.
Me too.
Have you seen male blood elves?
No, I will be a female for that race very day of the week.
2 accounts 70+ characters, all female.
So according to ops logics:
Horde players should not exist.
If you are playing wow, you need to play as human male/female.
Sounds exciting.
I play female pandas because its the only gender/race in the game that looks great in any mogs you have.
What i find weird is your taking enough time to not only think about this, but to make a thread about it
People can play trolls / orcs / tauren / space goats and so many other weird creatures. Now you’re thinking male playing female toons are weird?
I found out that Samus was a woman when I was like 4. I think I cried about it because I wanted to play a dude and girls were gross or w/e 4 year olds think.
I got over it pretty quick because Samus (and Metroid) are freaking awesome.
Now-a-days I play male and female characters both. Just whatever I like better. What’s it matter? lol
That’s to many character, don;t know how anyone can do that. One account and 3 char’s
Since gender changes are now free at the barber shop I’m in this category now. No regrets, undead male animations are the best.
Yes i agree. I am a Panda in real life so i play Pandaren.
How so? It’s not really any different than a guy playing as Jill Valentine in Resident Evil or Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.
What does my IRL gender have to do with that of my character? I’m a straight, happily married man and I’ve played mostly (but not exclusively) female characters since I first started playing MMOs when Star Wars Galaxies was released. Now I DID initially create a male character in that game, but for some reason I just couldn’t get into that character and enjoyed the game a lot more once I created a female alt to play instead. I’ve never really been able to pinpoint an exact reason for this, but ever since then I usually only play male characters in games that include romance options (SWTOR) or have fully customizable companions/crew (SWTOR, STO). There ARE exceptions as I do have some female SWTOR characters and one male WoW character, but generally unless romance options exist I simply prefer to play female characters.
I play both, love the accents on both male and female dwarves and dark irons
I don’t think I realized Samus was a female until game cube…
why is it always the same thread?
why don’t people ever question females who play male characters?

But… it’s not Sunday. I am confused, again.
I don’t think I would have noticed being so young but my cousin (who is 4 years older than me) pointed out the death animation in Super Metroid.
