LFR raiders locked out of story content till Feb

Spend your 1 day off playing video games with toxic teens, guys. Your life will be better for it.

I absolutely HIGHLY doubt that - more commonly they’re anti social and “scared”

Skyrim is on sale often.

That’s why I asked what you’re complaining about.

If they’re having fun on the carnival ride why should they get off it? The problem is that Blizzard thinks that by making the carnival rides increasingly more miserable, they’ll get those people into skydiving instead. That’s not what happens, though. They just go home instead. I don’t see why you can’t enjoy your thrills without having to talk down to those who enjoy their carnival rides.

If you feel like you can credibly compare LFR with Normal without having tried either, then good for you, man.

I especially laughed when you said that LFR doesn’t require skill or communication. I’d love to see you clear the Lady Inerva Darkvein fight in LFR without anyone communicating the mechanics ahead of time. The only time I saw a group attempt that, it was a wipe. The only thing more pathetic than an elitist raider trying to punch down on LFR heroes is a non-raider trying to punch upwards while looking down.

O, of course, you’re principled & on the right side of the argument, all those OTHER people are just anti-social & scared.

/facepalm

They are. lmao

FWIW, I’m in a guild now and am clearing normal as we speak - probably not a full clear, but it’ll happen eventually.

So yeah, people are either A. Anti Social, B. Scared or C. Don’t try.

There are plenty of groups that will invite you at 180, which when you’re supposed to start it. I’ve never had a problem pugging CN on any of my alts. This claim that all groups require you to outgear the content before you’re allowed to do it is just an excuse for laziness and is frankly just laughable.

Gotta love the tryhards talking smack about raiding.

That’s how people are - 100% he never even tried to get into a normal CN.

In it now with no previous exp @ 184 ilvl, working on Xy but I think he might be an uncoordinated pug killer lmao

Well said!

You are defending the difficulty of LFR in public. That takes a level of cognitive dissonance I just can’t square.

You seem to take it personally, someone referring to LFR as easy. That is weird. Projecting insecurities or something?

I don’t mind (and think its fair) for it to be released several weeks after the normal+ get it. That’s fine. But then staggered it two weeks per wing
that should change. Make it delayed by say 4 weeks, then every week you get one wing.

That way Raiders get their time in the sun and folks who can’t dedicate for whatever reason, don’t have to wait for a month and a half to start clearing all four wings.

You are bashing LFR without having even tried it this expansion. I don’t see how you can experience cognitive dissonance over something you clearly know nothing about.

I think you’re the one projecting insecurities here. What prompted you to talk down to players for their interest in content that you haven’t even tried? I mean, I’ve cleared Normal Nathria already, and I’m pushing into Heroic. What do I have to be insecure about? I’m defending LFR because I’ve actually tried it, and I hate when people make false statements like yours, especially disparaging ones. I’m hardly the only player to publicly proclaim that LFR is actually hard:

Just because it’s too hard for you, doesn’t mean you should criticize those who take the time to do it.

do normal lmao it’s not that hard

oir just wait

Between this and reknown, Blizz is now time gating story for months- because that’s how they intend to keep you subbed. They know they don’t have the content, they don’t have anything interesting- so the sole thing people might be interested in they have to leverage for longer periods of time.

Age old argument of “why do you need gear if you don’t do the content”

Half the people complaining are playing wow as a single player game and farm Xmog, ya’ don’t need gear.

Again, the real issue is that everything about the raid will be spoiled by the time Feb rolls around.

I’ve had pieces of the story spoiled from casual conversations so you’d basically need to go out of communication from everyone else who plays the game to avoid them.

Much easier just to unlock a wing per week like they’ve done in the past.

It also needs to be stated that timegating content THIS much is a genuinely bad sign for the remainder of the expansion. If they have so little content for casual players that they need to spread out LFR over months instead of weeks like usual, it doesn’t bode well.
