LFR raiders locked out of story content till Feb

Man, people like you are the reason why people prefer lfr than pug normal or try pve at all

Same as you :o

Thereā€™s casual, and thereā€™s doesnā€™t even try.

Big difference.

I am not hard-core in any sense, but I still get things done. You guys can too!

Lots of people here mix up casual and bad. Casual doesnā€™t mean bad.

My humor is lost to you, my entire post was sarcasm.

40/classic reference

Wasnt all the BFA story gated in the same manner behind various instanced content as I joined in 8.3 I have no idea what happened to Jaina after the war campaign stuff but I know there are cinematics about Rastakhan and Jaina that are gated behind the raids. Also Nzoth end cinematic was gated behind his defeat.

I would assume most of the modern story content is gated behind completion of raid content. I am sure the 9.1 content will start as a separate thread (assuming knowledge from the 9.0 raid gated cinematics) but you should be able to see 90% of the story without raiding and 100% with LFR or normal.

My guild runs a weekly everyone can come normal raid in which we run everyone through all the bosses to gear alts or new players.

Then what are you complaining about, and why?

okay lol? Grow a pair, donā€™t let people upset you. This isnā€™t grade school, youā€™ll be okay.

If you have social anxiety go play Skyrim.

You arenā€™t understanding the argument being made in the OP. LFR is gated with this quest for several more weeks. Itā€™s not a matter of not trying, itā€™s not doable.

Yeah, just more nonsensical time gating from Blizzard in the expansion focused on time gating.

LFR isnā€™t gated. The follow up quest is because it has 2 starting requirements.

And it is doable : join a normal run. Or wait for it to unlock in LFR.

It was not. Dungeon quests, only a couple. Raid quests, apparently only one for Horde side only and it was dropped as a requirement rather quickly, because people couldnā€™t continue the main storyline without it.

Good to know you donā€™t comprehend whatā€™s going on. :+1:

Can you join LFR right now to complete the quest? No. Itā€™s not about joining a normal run, since normal runs have nothing to do with LFR. Do you understand now, or should I draw in crayons, or perhaps a flip book with cartoons?

The quest isnā€™t limited to LFR. You can do it on Normal, Heroic or Mythic, which are all fully opened right now.

Castle Nathria is Castle Nathria.

Nevermind, itā€™s apparently very pointless to have a conversation with you. Good day.

Yes, I do tend to stick to facts. The quest is entirely doable. You choose not to do it, because you donā€™t seem to want to step out of your comfort zone.

The only other option then is to wait for LFR to unlock the final wing.

I donā€™t disagree. Just trying to establish that this isnā€™t a Blizzard-exclusive tactic.

In this particular case, the difference is effort instead of money. Raiders are expected to put in more effort to get there, so the trade off is they donā€™t have to wait as long. I think that the staggered LFR release was originally set to encourage people to step up to organized raiding, itā€™s been awhile and I canā€™t remember. ā€œIf you donā€™t want to wait to see the end boss, try Normal! :)ā€ Sounds like something Blizzard would do.

Honestly, I donā€™t see the harm in releasing LFR all at the same time. Just stick to the requirement of completing the previous wing before being able to jump into the next.

Ironically, you donā€™t seem to be in a guild.

Iā€™m searching, donā€™t worry ^_^. Iā€™m not going to jump into the first guild I see. I want competence, first and foremost.

Iā€™m not worried. I just think itā€™s laughable that you tell other people to join a guild when youā€™re not in one.

Cuz, yā€™know, maybe theyā€™re in the same boat you are ā€“ looking for the RIGHT guild, not just the first one that sends a random invite.
